pap smear, i have never had one
and im 44 now, i do think its a god idea esp seeing as my mum died of cancer, but in the past when the doctors have tried getting the speclum in me it just plain hurts enough for me to start screamng and pulling it back out and thats only when shes got it an inch in, yet my husband isnt a small man by any means and im fine with him. ive had 3 kids but all by c section so nothing has ever come out that way, i dont use tampons as they are just so uncomfortable. has anyone got any idea what is likely to be the matter and how to stop this happening in the future as everytime i see the doctor she wants to do this but i decline as its a waste of their time as they cant do it and then have to clean eveything up after trying -
I agree w/ fallen. That's strange. Anyway, plz do what you can to get your pap. I am going through my 2nd round of cervical cancer and the only reason I'm here to tell you this is b/c I had my annual paps. This really concerns me.What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.Comment

I say it's just nerves. You need to relax. When you had your children even when you had a C-section especially the first one they must had checked you to see how dilutated you were. Sense you had your problem with your mom. Believe me once
you get it over with that first exam the next should be better.Comment
