    Devastatingly Painful Cramps

Hello all, I just came on here because I know most Gyneocologists never usually notice anything wrong and just say it's hormones or whatever and hopefully some of you have some ideas of what's going on.

For quite a few years now, my period has been on and off HORRIBLY DEVASTATING. Literally. I'll wake up and feel like I'll need to pee, I'll get on the toilet and woo, I see I'm on my period. I'll head back to bed and once I lay down, my cramps will hit me like a gunshot. I'll just get this horrible feeling like someone has just stuck a fork into my lower abdomen and just keeps twisting around, and it never stops. It'll hurt so much, I won't even be able to lay still. I'll be squirming around and screaming and crying in pain. Then I'll get this light-headed sensation and I'll just start throwing up pure stomach acid. After that, if I lay in bed squirming for awhile, I'll feel a little better, but I'll have horrible diarrhea, then it'll start all over again. I'll also have black-outs and white-outs? I know when I black out, everything will just go dark, but with white-outs, everything will fade to white while my eyes are open and I'll hear a static buzz in my head and everything else will be blocked out. But this is only the first day of my period and I'm afraid to take birth control incase it's a blood clotting problem and it'd just make it worse. I've been to my gyneocologist countless times, gotten blood tests, had an ultrasound, no one can find anything wrong with me.
Does anyone know what could be causing this and/or what could be done about it?

If you gynecologist is willing to give up on this, RUN.
This is NOT normal, there is obviously something wrong, and your doctors should be doing something to try to help you. Go to a bigger city near you and see a gyno there.

Go to a new Doc that will take you seriously and discuss the possibility of endometrosis.

I get them like that, although I've never been to a gyno ( I really should though...)
All I do is drink a lot of water, keep warm and try not to move. No caffeine, no sweets, no fats...

I've always had horrible cramps. I've actually ended up in the hospital twice because of the pain. So I know how your feeling really I do!! Birth control helps soo much with the cramps you'll feel like a new person around the time of your period!! Try it. But make sure you pick the best birth control for you. And tell me how it goes!!

Oh and for the puking you need to see a gyno . It might just be the stress of the pain which makes you tosse your cookies ! Hopefully thats all it is! The diarrhea I get that too its so horrible that my butt hurts sometimes and that natural! A lot of women get diarrhea and headaches when they get there periods! So calm down hunny and go to the docter just to make sure everythings peachy!!

The second day of my period is when I have to stay home. It is the worst day for me. Sometimes I throw up, too. The pain is very horrible on that day, and the period itself is heavy. I usually put a warm heating blanket on my abdomin and it helps a lot. I would suggest seeing another doctor, though. It sounds like you go through he11. Birth control would probably help. It helped me tremendously (not on it now due to lack of insurance ).
