Please help, i think im going MAD!!!!

ok Ladies, im hoping you can help me or at least maybe shed some light on whats happening.
My wife an i have been married for 4 months and have had no problems whatsoever up to this point, but since the marriage (well, it seem like this anyway) she has been masturbating every night for at least 4, maybe 5 hours and denying me sex as well (not that i ask her for sex every night) , which is becoming frustrating as whenever she rejects my advances you can be sure that she's going for it as soon as the lights are off, but she will not allow me to join in or even participate.

She is becomming more and more agressive whenever i bring the subject up, in fact its now putting such a strain on our relationship that i feel if its brought up again she's going to leave me.......

so...Ladies...any ideas about whats going on....because i can't work it out and its killing me every night....

she thinks that its sleep sex syndrome, but i really dont think it is, surely you would have to be asleep for some time for that to start happening, not as soon as the light/Tv goes off??

so had you guys lived together before you got married or atleast spent the night together? Was she doing this before your marriage? Most ppl develop their masturbation habits and set the cycle in their teens or early 20's .

How often did you have sex prior to your marriage?

We've lived together for 2 years prior to getting married....i've never noticed it until recently (after we got hitched)

we had sex probably 3/4 times a week

everything else about our relationship is great, just this.......

its creating an atmosphere of mistrust tht neither of us want and feel like its driving a wedge between us

Ok, I am a girl in my mid 30's - my prime and I couldn't imagine 4 or 5 hrs, I couldn't imagine making love for that long let alone satisfying myself. My guess is there is something deeper going on than just obsessive materbation, if she is declining your advances - might help for you to speak to your Dr and see if they can advise you how to gentley approach the subject with her.

I can understand the self pleasuring, but for that long I don't know. Are you sure that's what she is doing? Does she cum? The aggressive response concerns me as much as anything, that and her disinterest in sex. This whole thing sounds odd. Maybe start with a full physical and then a visit to a counselor who specialises in sexual disorders?

yes i think there is an underlying personal problem here. maybe a supressed childhood event that was triggered by something that happed right around your wedding. deffinately be sensitive, and make sure when it all comes to a head, that she is with people she feels comfortable discussing it with. it could be her mom or a complete stranger. it may be best to let her choose. but make sure you are let in on everything, and if she starts "dealing with the issue" alone with whomever she choses, you will need to be more involved.

i agree with wildchild as far as the physical and the sexual disorder specialist
