No, we weren't only taught abstinence in middle and high school. They told us that it was the only 100 percent way to avoid pregnancy and STDs, but they also realize that kids that want to have sex are going to. They obviously told us about condoms and birth control, too. Our education systems are pretty terrible, but I'll at least give mine a little more credit than that. -
There are government initiatives that give schools money to teach abstinence-only. If it weren't for outside information, I'd never know what a condom or BCPs were, and I graduated from high school in 2006. Apparently my school systems took the money.
Nature gives us shapeless shapes,
Clouds and waves and flame,
But human expectation is that love remains the same,
And when it doesn’t, we point our fingers and blame.
Register|Contact Admin|Email Admin
Comment

I think you are over worrying about things... if he is using a condom and pulling out then the chances of getting pregnant are very very slim.... years ago my ex G/F was on the pill and I came home from work and she announced she was pregnant.... I felt my life flash before my eyes - not something I wanted as a 21 year old!..... What she meant to say is 'my period is about 3 days late'... because 2 days later her period came and everything was ok.
if your period fails to come then consult your doctorComment

My g/f has told me that she has always hated condoms. She didn't like stopping to put one one a boyfriend, she didn't like putting them on a boyfriend, and she didn't like the feeling of a condom inside of her. Worse, when she was in college she was briefly on the pill. It made her gain weight, so she stopped taking it. She told me that withdrawal was her primary method of bc. She knows she was very, very lucky because she was extremely sexually active. Thankfully, when I started dating her she had had her tubes tied.
BTW, my g/f has what might be a cum fetish. I think that she developed it when former boyfriends came on her rather than inside of her.
One more BTW, she loved period sex. She said she could have sex all night for days w/o having to worry.Comment

It makes me lol when people say "Just get on bc!!" Asif it's free of negatives. 3 different pills later and the pros are yet to outweigh the cons. I daren't even try any other methods of BC because it's already knocked my conscious thoughts of it affecting my moods as the pills did. Not to mention how basically 90% of reviews I read about the implant or injection are negative, ergh.Comment

I'm with you 100%; my first wife got on pills after our son was born, and I think the primary mechanism of birth control was that it made her completely lose interest in sex.It makes me lol when people say "Just get on bc!!"
