    Just how common is anal?

So I've been with my man for a few years, and it's only been in recent months that we have been experimenting with anal activity. Personally I love it, even though I never thought I would.( I find there's kind of a stigma attatched to anal fore play) We had anal sex for the first time and I'm just curious to know if it's something common or not

Pretty common - I don't remember the statistics, but maybe 1/4 couples try and 1/10 do it regularly. Years ago my wife and I did. At first we both really liked it, but gradually the novelty wore off (for both of us) and we stopped doing it.

Couples have been doing this since at least ancient Greece (probably much earlier), but they were the first to do pictures.

If you both like it, then have fun.

Don't forget that sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander - get a dildo and try it on him. In some ways it works even better on men - they have a prostate to stimulate.

I instigated trying this with my boyfriend and he seemed happy to give it a go. I use think I would never let a guy even attempt it, much less that I would innitiate it. The thought of it seemed way too painful. But after years of hearing about it, curiousity took over. It hurt but not nearly as bad as I thought it would and suprisingly enough felt really good, physically and on a mental level it just turned me on so much to be offering him something out of the ordinary.

We've done it a handful of times since then, if the mood is right I am more than willing and excited to keep giving it a go.

My BF managed to get me to do it when I was really high once....the experience ended up being so strange for me that I've never let him go near the area again. Sigh...perhaps it's best to try new sexual rituals when my brain isn't being chemically altered.

It's always good to experiment with new things, and a lot of people try anal, personally I did NOT like it, and my current boyfriend has been bugging me to do it, but i'm not all that interested, tried it once before and I just think it's an OUT door, not an In door, but to each his own, right?

I do enjoy anal sex very much. I think it common, just not talked about.

It is very common, although always use lots of lubrication, communication, and relaxation. The receiver should always be in control, how much, how fast, & when. Another important thing to remember is you never want to mix the back door bacteria with the front door bacteria. This can lead to very uncomfortable bacterial infections! So play it safe and never double dip
