    An Even Trade? You decide..

Have questions about whether vibrators make it harder to orgasm during sex?

    We have more answers!

Read our full article, “Can Vibrators Desensitize Or Damage My Clitoris, Or Vagina?” here:

    https://www.womens-health.com/desensitized-clitoris

    Condensed version:

Started dating a woman last year.

I couldn't get her to have an orgasm. (no oral/manual/intercourse...nothing)

We talked and came to some conclusions:

I gave up porn/masturbation and my G/F tossed her vibrator.

Our sex life suddenly became much enhanced. Orgasms for her during intercourse and **occasionally** oral.

    Discuss.

Whatever it takes, that's what I say.... Personally, I think I'm a better lover because of what I've learned from those things....My wife would agree...

The fact that you've worked together to find out what works best is the cool part here...so many people can't communicate on that level..... Kudos!

When I bought my first vibe, I went from double-digit orgasms per 30-minute sex session to one or two if I was lucky.
            Vibes. Do. Desensitize. Period.
It seems logical to me that if two people focus all of their sexual energy on one another, it will enhance the experience.

Did you ever regain your previous level of sensitivity, or do you still have your vibe?

The vibe stays in the drawer almost always. It took some work, but I'm definitely back to where I was before. It's the same idea as a man training himself out of DGS ... the vibe creates sensations that a man could never recreate naturally (vibrating tongue?) so you have to hold off and go back to manual stimulation or regular sex only.
Of course, in my case it was 9 months of celibacy and probably 4-5 months of no vibe. But that's a worst case scenario and I wasn't celibate for the re-sensitization.

It's amazing what the touch of a caring man can do to reawaken your body!

And it's amazing what a couple that works together can accomplish.

We got the intercourse thing going, but still working on consistent oral....i want to be able to give her an effortless orgasm any time....meaning that all she has to do is lie there and enjoy....i think it's only fair considering her sacrifice.

Any pointers? We're starting with delaying sex for at least a day or two to make sure that we are both ready and in the mood. Think that's a good start?

We usually have sex 1/day up to 3-5 on the weekends, so going a day without is tough. We both have very high sex drives.
