Guilt does you no good.

Well, you took the necessary precautions. If you felt as if this would have been a problem you shouldn't have done it.
Guilt does you no good. -
I figured it was something for ME
something that was going to make ME happy and my boyfriend happy, not anyone else.
I'm so used to doing what it takes to makes everyone around me happy that I forget to make myself happy and I am truly happy. lol. not that I wasn't happy before we had sex but it brought us closer.
Thanks for all your help. I am not going to feel guilty anymore because I know I might not be making the best choices according to other people but at least I'm being safe about it and not doing it with any random person. I feel a lot better now =)Comment

Two things ...
First, in response to a previous poster, I don't think the "pull out method" is a good basis for one to be qualified as an "educated woman". I think it's a horrible attempt at preventing pregnancy, and very rarely is reliable in itself.
Now, as for the original poster of this thread .... DON'T feel guilty!
I waited until a month before my 18th birthday to lose it from my boyfriend of a whole month! I don't regret my decision in the slightest, nor should you. You will come to find out later in life that all the energy spent on feeling guilty, or angry, or vengeful is wasted energy, and only that. It's too tiring weighing yourself down with all these additional emotions that are frankly unnecessary. You made an adult decision to share yourself with your significant other. The least you can do is react to the situation like the same person who made such a mature decision.
You were prepared before going into this, to my understanding, to the best of your ability. You knew well enough before to make sure and protect yourself and your partner, and like another poster said, that is far more than most women do, so for that I applaud you! Just remember to keep practicing those same precautions! (Although you might as well ditch the "pull out method" --- it's neither effective, nor necessary if combined with both birth control and condoms)
Just enjoy life, and focus on the happiness it brings. It seems easier said than done, but there's no good that will come of you feeling guilty. If it's too much to handle, just be a bit more cautious of your choices regarding sex in the future.Comment
