I'm a guy suffering from severe premature ejaculation, could really use some advice?!

Hi all, well this is my first posting, i never thought about seeking help on a womens forum before but it makes sense as you ladies will have helped either your partners or others on here with similar problems, so i thank you for any help and advice you can give.

I'm a 22 yr old guy not currently in a relationship but this problem was a big factor in my last one, like i said severe PE, i only lost my virginity at 20 but for my first time it was not very good, lost control before i even penetrated my girlfriend, and sex with her everytime after that was within seconds of penetration, i think the longest i ever went was about 10 seconds, i tried everything from masturbating before sex to counting to 50 to thinking about other things but it would still happen, quite often happened during foreplay which put a real downer on things, so i focussed completely on getting her to orgasm using hands etc so she would not feel unsatissfied, have also tried a fleshlight to last longer as apparently this can train me but i still ejaculate quite fast when using that but last slightly longer than real sex,

but anyway she was my first gf aswell as my first sexual partner and our relationship ended over another issue, but this is something i want to try and get under control so it doesn't affect any further relationships, can anyone offer me some advice or tips on to how i can overcome this issue as i dont want sex to last 5 seconds forever

I am a guy who has suffered from premature ejaculation since I started having sex at 16. It was not until I was about 32yo that I saw a Doctor who specializes in this area. He put me on Zoloft tablets which are referred to as SSRI's and used to treat depression. I only take half a tablet a day which he tells me is quite a low dosage but I have gone from lasting 30secs to lasting 2-3 minutes of continuous thrusting. If I pause I can last a lot longer.

It has taken some getting used to. For example I cannot drink alcohol and have sex. The alcohol combined with the Zoloft results in me not being able to ejaculate at all. I have also had to experiment with the dosage and also the time of day to take it. So I am sure there are different answers for different people.

I suggest you talk to your Doctor and ask for a referral to a specialist in this area. The effort will be worthwhile as my sex life is now much more satisfying for both my wife and I.

        Good luck.

Isn't 22 too young to be taking tablets? Just practice and you will last longer as you grow older. As you grow older and gain experience you'll be able to hold back longer. You are new to sex & you get very excited that's why you have PE.
There are moments in life which get etched in memory & there are those wonderful people who never leave your heart.

Something to try - get yourself hard but stop anytime you sense getting close. Try to keep yourself hard for as long as you can. Start with a half hour and work your way to a time you're happy with. For me, the first 5 minutes were the toughest. Once I got to a half hour, I felt I had good control at that point. Practicing that sense of control will help.

Yeah i can get hard again no problem, but it kinda put a downer on things, and i have good control over myself when its just me n the hand but i found it was completely involuntary when having sex and even just foreplay i just could not do anything to stop it, i have got a fleshlight so hope that this may help

Noor, I thought that I too would grow out of it. It was not until I was in my 30's that I sought help from a Doctor. I am glad I did otherwise I would still be waiting to grow out of it at 37 years of age!

My advice is to talk to your Doctor and get referred to a specialist in this area.

If he wants to cum inside me, my guy can only cum in missionary and can't last long. If he tries to stop to hold, he's stopping to often for him or me to enjoy it.

But other positions he can't cum, so we do all them first: doggy, me on top, standing, etc. There may be positions that feel good to her that you can more easily hold.
