    Anal sex and hemmorhoids?

Does anyone know if anal sex can cause hemmorhoids? I heard it could.

I would say yes, but i am on a doctor. I believe hemmorhoids are caused by pressure on your anus (constapation, having a baby) it would make sense that anal sex would do it too.

Hemmorhoids are vericosities of the anal veins. These are caused by increased venous pressure and/or incompetent veinous walls. The act of anal filling would be expected to compress the vericose veins much as support hose would do in the lower extremities. The increase in veinous pressure required to cause or bring about hemmorhoids occurs above the venous plexus by increased intra-abdominal pressure resulting from such etiologies as pregnancy, obesity, tumor, blood clot or obstruction, congestive heart failure(especially right heart), etc. The act of anal sex would be extected to act as a pessary or compress veins rather than engorge them. Bleeding or damage from anal sex would be due to lack of (a) adequate lubrication and (b) lack of sufficient time to relax internal and external anal sphincter muscles. These factors would be doubly important in the receiver if they already have hemmarhoids.
Sacral innervation to the rectal and anal area is greater than the vagina. The G-spot may also end up in the perineum or rectal anterior wall embriologically. These factors contribute to the known incidence of orgasm directly from anal sex, and the increase in intensity which can occur from same.

If you read the post again, it states that anal sex does not cause hemmorhoids.

I've found myself starting to read your responses and quiting because they are to hard to follow. Maybe if you'd respond in a way that is not so hard to read ......

            Just a suggestion.
There is a method to my madness ........ I just haven't found it yet.

Basically, they don't CAUSE hemmorhoids, but they can make them flare up if you already have them
