How can I get a vibrator?

Hello, I signed up here to get as much information on sex as possible. Most of my friends have already had sex, but I don't want to go down that path just yet. So, I want a vibrator. It's boring using your hands all the time, and things like hairbrushes/things that penetrate just hurt, so should I ask my Mom to buy me one? Or just fake my age (I look older than I am) and buy one myself?
I'm 14. Please don't flame me for wanting one, it's better to have a vibrator than to end up pregnant, don't you think? And if I do get one, I'm definitely not going to want sex, I've got more common sense than that.

What do you think? I appreciate everything you guys say. Thanks x

If your mom would buy one, ask her. If not, order one online. If you have older friends, see if they can go buy you one.

Most adult stores will probably card you if you look anywhere near 18. You can try to buy one online, but you are going to need access to a credit card or checking account of some sort usually.

If your mom would be cool with it, or at least understanding, I'd ask her. I mean, she might be more open to it if you explain you are not ready to have sex and are using this as an alternative?

Most drug stores or department stores sell various massagers, especially this time of year. Don't over do, you can pleasure yourself using your hand and not end up desensitised when you do have sex with a partner, it doesn't cost anything, you always have it handy and you don't have to worry about anyone finding it.

          an aunt?

i really wish my neffews were closer... this type of situation seems perfect for a aunt/uncle (aunt in your case).

i applaud your your decision-btw. good to be curious but save sex for later down the road (speaking as a father).

          best of luck!

I remember being carded at the adult store when I bought my first vibe and I was already 19. If you're mom understands that would be rad. My mom did'nt want to buy me one cos she did'nt like those sex shops. Although nowadays they sell vibrators at smoke shops. Sometimes they don't card you there.

Yeah just go and get something at the drugstore like the KY Vibrate touch device.... its in the section with the condoms.... thats all you'll need

PS: I see nothing wrong with you being 14 and wanting to do this!!!! Good for you!

I got my first vibrator at 16, was good and i believe most female teens should do this. I say that for many reasons:
                1) you can learn that you dont need a man to pleasure you
                2) in your case, if yu're not ready for sex but still curious, its a perfect alternative!

Try speaking to your mom and if she doesnt like the idea maybe try find another way to get one.

                good luck

Just some insight: a vibrator isn't a replacement for sex. In fact, save for penetration, the sensations from a vibrator feel nothing like having sex.

I'm with WC on this. Your hand is easy and won't cause your nerves to become numb to the touch.

Just so you know, if you use your vibrator too much, it can make it so you can't orgasm without using a vibrator. In addition, even if you discontinue use, it can make it that you require far more stimulation than you ever did before in order to reach orgasm. Not sure if you are going to want to deal with that down the road.

                    Good luck either way.
