does anyone have ideas on how feminism plays into bisexualism??? Im doing a paper for college about femininity and bisexuality....how they cross each other, if they do...thanx all!!!

Feminists strive for gender equality and for women to have the same respect and rights as men, correct? Maybe the link then is that bisexuals want the same respect and be treated equal to heterosexuals.

Another angle could be that whereas both heterosexuals and homosexuals 'discriminate' by limiting their romantic/sexual partners to one specific gender, bisexuals treat both genders equally.

Interesting question. I think Tex is essentially right. It really ties into a general acceptance and equality/ You may find some interesting twists on this if you read, Female Chauvenist Pigs. It's kind of a "who stole the movement?" book.
