    question about female sexual pleasure

hi, ive been wondering how long it takes for a woman to feel pleasure during sex, do most women usually feel pleasure as soon as intecourse starts or does it take a while, me personally it can take a good while for something to start to build up. This frustrates me sometimes because sometimes i worry i wont feel anything and this usually leads to me not feeling anything.

id just like to know so i know if its just me or this is a normal thing that happens to most women. i really have to concentrate during sex and have him focus alot on one particular spot inside for anything to start happening and sometimes nothing happens, it makes me feel like there something wrong with me at times.

replies would be greatly appreciated thank you x

How much foreplay do you get? I find sex extremely pleasurable, but I don't come that way.

Sometimes I can cum immediately, other times is may take a couple minutes. Apparently I'm not the norm.

i get quite alot of foreplay, but im very self concious and find it hard to let go.
its just sometimes i get good feelings, but he hasnt lasted long enough for me to possibly come, it hasnt gotten that intense yet.
when it does happen it can tae anything from 15 to 20 minutes before i start to feel anything good.
and well most times i dont feel anything, i'm still working on this, i get really frustrated my mind wanders and so nothing happens for me.
when i do feel things its only when hes on top, ive never felt anything good from me being on top or any other position and ive tried quite a few, doggy can be uncomfortable sometimes.
i just feel like such a freak to be honest.
maybe it really is all in my head... i dont know

p.s i'm on Loestrin 20 now, i'm trialling this as its a low dose pill, if this doesnt help then i'm gonna get the non hormonal iud see if my body can get back to normal and my sex drive totally back.

Are you young and new to sex? It took me years and a great partner to finally let go and enjoy sex to the fullest.

I still have not figured out a routine or what exactly works to bring me to a pleasurable state. Its like one night if he kisses my neck while rubbing my boobs it will work, the next night I feel nothing with the same motions. He can go down on me and lick a certain 2 o'clock position on my clit and it will feel great, try the same motion again in 5 minutes and nothing. I hate being so hit and miss, and the foreplay can last however long I want it to last so that is not the issue. Thinking about porn scenes to just get the ball rolling works but not for long. Thinking about the tingles does not work as long as it should because my body gets used to the sensations of whatever is happening in such a short period of time. One day I would like to be able to cum with just a 2 minute rub but right now that looks like only a dream.

Your entire post sounds completely normal and average. About the only suggestion I have is to try to find something that gets you more aroused and interested since having your mind wander means you really aren't doing things that will get you very far. You mostly just have to experiment with what does work and expand slowly until you find lots of things that work. Even then some women just don't find something that let's them orgasm through sex every time. It's pretty standard for my husband to pull out a toy to use on me after we have sex.

All low dose birth control actually messed more with the my sex drive and even how sensitive I was to things than pills considered high dose or riskier. I keep going back to yasmin. However I don't think it's actually the dose. I think it's the type of hormones used. Different pills can have quite different hormones and each person tolerates them differently. I don't think taking something lower dose really has much impact on your response to the hormones only on your risk of other health related side effects like blood clots. It's the specific hormone itself that seems to determine what emotional or sexual effects will happen.

Know the feeling I was talking about this to my partner the other day a girl can sometimes do a whole 4 minute flat and its over masturbation and the same thing could take over half an hour with a partner. I have my moments where its just not going to happen it really depends where my mind is to how long it takes to get into the mood and the swing of things. If my partner has flirted with a few grabs here and there and what not by the time we go to bed I can cum in about 10 minutes or less because im focused on whats about to happen and its there and in my head. If we go to bed and I have no clue its about to happen then that can take that to half an hour or more, depending on the mood im in when I go to bed.
Itsasecret, it isn't that much of a surprise what works one day wont work the next because generally women that are comfortable with their bodies and their sexuality also crave variety, once it has been done a few times its not exciting any more its routine, lol you know whats coming, it takes a little away from you. One day i'm sure you will get your 2 minute rub and cum it just really does take practise. I have my one way that never fails me if im in the mood but in saying that its because I masturbated like that since I was 14 lol the body is well aware that I want the job done quickly then and it responds. We are all a little different I guess.
