Meh, like I said, it would depend totally on your frame in my opinion. The only other gripe i've ever heard about fake boobs is that there is a huge difference in feel during foreplay for both parties. I've only heard a few complaints on the matter, but I just though I'd throw it out there. A friend of mine specifically said "it feels like they are literally toys".

I know what you mean about feel; my only previous experience with them was maybe 20 years ago, and they felt about like footballs.
There is apparently some new technology, because my friends new ones feel just fine, to her and to me!
There is one thing: she was cautioned that they needed to be massaged regularly or they would "harden up," which may be why some develop a "plastic toy" feel.

But as to the overall appearance: like I said, I thought 'D's would be too much on a petite 5'-3 or so lady, but I was mistaken - they look just fine without making her look like Dolly Parton.

        From a male perspective....

What ever you were born with is good enough. Naturals, any size are good. Don't mess with nature.

I don't think the scar line is sexy and the thought of decreased sensitivity in any of my areas would steer me away from surgery.

You might not have been paying attention when I said (Post # 18):
"In fact, she claims they are if anything, more sensitive than before."
And the scar is almost unnoticeable - you have to look for it.

You might also have missed the point that, this wasn't an issue of "what you're born with," but more along the lines of fixing what time had damaged. And since this was completely her choice - I told her she looked fine to me! - and she could easily afford it, who am I to be critical?

Just thought I would put in my two cents. I think that fake breasts look like just that - fake, and I really don't think that your friend getting implants will make her feel better about herself. What she really needs is someone to get her naked and tell her how beautiful her body is, until SHE believes it.

FWIW: I think what was natural - breasts, face, hair, etc. almost always looks better than anything modified or created.

I think if your friend likes the results, she'll feel even better about herself.
Isn't this your friend who had cancer, yes?

If she is able to model then her looks are part of her business, and therefore she probably wants to make sure everything stays looking as nice as possible.

And she is lucky to have a supporter in you, TR. You could maybe post her story on the Plastic Surgery board as a positive experience.

                  Thanks.

Yes, she had surgery for breast cancer just last fall, a "lumpectomy," along with intensive radiation therapy. And a sentinel-node biopsy showed no spread of the disease, so she's very fortunate!

She's not a professional model: she's going to be modeling for a benefit luncheon for the American Cancer Society - something she had signed-up to do before she ever learned she had cancer herself!
She's a nurse by training, and the administrator at an oncology center in these parts.
                  And a beautiful person!

I'll be making a donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in her name.

Well, thanks for the update, TR, I think it's great that she feels confident in doing that and that her surgery story is a positive thing for you both..

She took the cancer surgery like a champion; I was scared, but I couldn't let HER know!

And now she's like a new person! Way too good-looking for me!
