In what ways have you been pleasantly surprised by a loved one?

I once came home to a bathtub filled with bubbles, a glass of champagne with a strawberry in the bottom, a CD in the player, and candles filling the bathroom...it was very sensual and definately put me in the mood..for romance...

Once upon a time, long ago, I went to meet my lover at work; we were going out for drinks and, I hoped, much more!
When I drove up - it was winter - she came out and hopped into my truck, a big Bronco with bench front seat, and slid over to give me a kiss.

It was only moments before I discovered she was wearing only the trench-coat!
We DID stop at a local watering hole for a drink, but only one, as all I could think about was what she wasn't wearing, and her "I've got a secret!" smile didn't help.

One sexy surprise that a wonderful past boyfriend gave to me actually wasn't a completely sexual interaction.
He was a surgeon, and invited me to the Christmas event for the hospital. I wasn't sure what to wear..(typical woman)...

He took me to the best department store in the city, I tried on anything I wished..he bought the dress I fell in love with, along with a beautiful necklace/choker of pearls and bracelet. The dress was exquisite, black, subtly shimmering, with a thigh high leg slit and lower square neckline with just a touch of black lace at the cleavage. I felt so beautiful, and eye-catching, and, well, SEXY....

When I came up the stairs, all dressed up and made up, he literally gulped for a moment. When we arrived at the event, we only stayed a few moments before he decided he'd rather go elsewhere. We went to a wonderful piano bar/restaurant that we loved, and had a romantic dinner and drinks. Afterwords, at his house, he built a fire, and we lay on the floor in front of it. He began stroking my hair, then leaned over to whisper, "Don't move. No matter what I do, do not move". He then began kissing my neck, lips, chest and ears..it was completely amazing...

No, we didn't ever have sex the entire time we dated (that seems to be a recurring theme in my relationships ) but he was certainly a sensual man...
