This may sound strange, but im going out of my mind trying to work out why my 34yr old boyfriend is looking at (and i dont want to think about what else)magazines with 60+ women in some really sick outfits & positions. Can anyone tell me what the attraction is? I also found some with really obese women in- im 26 and fairly attractive, why does he need to look at this stuff to get off? Other than the porn collection, he's a lovely, hard working guy- im really confused about all this but cant talk to him about it, for obvious reasons

Everybody has something different that gets them off. Who knows why he likes what he likes? Maybe it's because older or obese women are a little unconventional when it comes to porn, and he just wants to look at something that's a little different.

Mabye you ought to just ask him. I would. Who knows, mabye he got them to tease someone with or as a joke. That's totally something I would do. Or mabye, he does like looking at these things, they are created and sold because lots of men do have these fetishes or whatnot, and buy them. I wouldn't think you had much to worry about, I figure if this was what he wanted in real life he would have chosen a bigger or older woman to be in a relationship with.

ok so I have no issue with porn in general but think it's interesting that someone is weirded out because their so is looking at something that is completely opposite what they are... so as a 40 year old (almost), overweight wife and mother I should or should not have an issue that my so is looking at porn of thin young (early 20's) girls?

Irrespective of this, there are a lot of reason why men watch porn. They feel inadequate in size, they can't orgasm and let's face it, men can't fake orgasms, they can't keep it up, they were abused as a child, they had a Mother figure when they were younger, she was older than him and he was attracted to her..

Often it doesn't affect the sex life, rather enhances it.

I can't say I've been out with anyone who watched Porn but I've become somewhat curious and have read a few articles.

The problem for some men is that they cannot reconcile the fact that their wives; the mothers of their children can fill the wished for sexual fantasy of the "." For these men, the Oedipal conflict takes over in which there is too much guilt associated with the role of "mother" to allow them to continue to see their wives as sexual partners.

I think that alot of men also fear that if there was a "past" it will remind them of that as well.

I am not obviously saying every man, not at all.. Alot of men, love off course, their woman to make them feel like a man, in ever sense of the word and also make special efforts in their dress, their "address" or their "un-dress", it makes them feel whole...

But, Men have insecurities as well and I don't think many women realise this, they just assume that they are confident.

If they aren't as confident to compete with a horny lady, their lady, they may look at Porn..

The age factor is preference, not his preference to you, after all your younger than he is.

I think lots of people have minor fetishes or curiosities. For example what is the deal with feet??? - but thats a common one. This one sounds harmless - after all it could have been kids. The porn question is a whole different issue - and has been discussed to death in countless threads here, so no point starting another.
