I'm not quite 48, but, If he's saying during a relationship he likes sex every day, that's completely normal. I wouldn't bother worrying about the 15+ times in 6 months thing. Different women have brought out different sex drives in me. I'm not speaking of the initial 'let's do it all the time' stage, but the 'as it goes along and settles' stage. A previous relationship it was at least every day. My current relationship it's every 3 days or so. So, I wouldn't be concerned until you two actually have sex. He may wear you down and chase you around the house and want it 8 times a day, who knows.Comment

Thanks for the replies, guys! He actually eats quite well: we eat sushi about 5 or so meals per week. I am thinking he does not get enough protein.
I used to be a fitness instructor in another life, so yes, I remember those big roid guys. (loved those guys with the big muscles! :-) ). Nothin' like doing it with a big hard body! (oh, those were the days!)
Frankly, I'm a little puzzled by the eating habits, working out, and weight. I'm thinking it's a product of not enough calories in general, not enough protein, and not enough resistance/weight training to build lean body mass. I think after his heart attack, he went a bit overboard on the cardio and has forgotten about the weights for lean mass.Comment

15+ orgasms in 6 months is very low. I am 48 myself, and I masturbate far more often than that. Note that when one has orgasms less often (even self-inflicted ones), one has less desire for them. It's weird, I know, but I have experienced this in the past. But you indicated that Mr. Amazing said he likes sex once every day or so. That, to me, seems to be a normal rate for 48. If you need more sex than that, I suggest you walk away from Mr. Amazing. Once a relationship is more than a year or so old, the sex rate drops probably to half---or even less---than it was at the beginning.Comment
