29 yr old, never had an orgasm:(

I know there are a million threads on this, but I still felt the need to start my own, sorry. Just needed to vent, get it all out there I guess.

So, first of all, I know people say you have to know how to do it yourself first. I can't even do that. My form of masturbation is grinding on the corner of my nightstand... been doing that for honestly probably 20 years... I USED to use my fingers when I was really young, but I remember my Mom always made me wash my hands, like she'd check them when she kissed me goodnight. So maybe that's why I stopped using my fingers, I don't know. I've tried as I've gotten older, but MY OWN fingers just don't do hardly anything for me, seems like a waste of time.
The only vibrator that seems to get me going is one of those huge plug in Hitachi Wands. Now THAT is powerful! So much so, that I can only take it for so long before I have to stop. I've tried and tried to keep going longer, move the stimulation away from the clitoris for a bit, but no matter what I try, I either have to stop because it's too much, or when I move it I'm just not stimulated anymore.

Onto partners. One guy told me I had 3 orgasms (from oral and g-spot stimulation) that he could tell the way I had contractions. My head and hands went numb, and it did feel good, but I mean, it wasn't like fireworks amazing, it was just, body numbing, I don't know. But he was convinced, and some of my friends were like, "yeah, sounds like you had one." My feeling was, "THAT's IT?? That's what all this fuss is about?? I don't know... But maybe those were mini orgasms? Maybe I'm not completely broken afterall??"

Then another guy made my head and arms go numb, (from oral for a LONG tiem) to the point I could not move my hands for like 5 minutes after he was done taking care of me. But again, no big BOOM of some amazing feeling.

More recently, I had that "peeing" feeling from g-spot stimulation (although in all honesty, i did have to go, but it made the feeling more intense). I also ejaculated, for the first time with a partner (which i know is not always related to orgasms,) but hey, I mean, maybe I'm at least on the right track?

I seem to do best when i have both clitoral and g-spot stimulation simultaneously i think. Or, I might actually be able to orgasm if the sex lasted longer (it's not him cumming quickly, it's just I obviously need a LOT of stimulation, for an abnormally long time I guess).

So obviously this bothers me, and I go in my ups and downs of trying to work on it and not caring. But I know it bothers my bf a lot. It hurts his ego. And that is something I SO wish I could give to him, but obviously it's not that easy for me.

I just ordered a book i saw recommended on this site, Orgasm Loop, so we'll see how that goes.

Sorry this was so incredibly long. If you actually read all this, thanks for listening. I'm not expecting magical answers from you all, but if you have anything you want to share, thanks!

I can relate to part of that. I can orgasm just fine on my own but... still... not with a partner! The day that happens, if it ever will, will be one of celebration.

I don't think what you experienced with your partner was an orgasm.

Have you tried masturbating while watching an erotic video or maybe reading a steamy romance novel?

No... I'm not really into porn. One of my friends directed me to an erotica website, but I don't have a laptop to lay on the couch with. I don't know, I guess I do not fantasize at all in my head, unless it's like my bf and I texting back and forth about stuff. I know i could try harder at fantasizing though.

That's the thing, most of us need our minds to be aroused before our bodies can.

For example I can't just take my fingers or my vibrator and magically give myself an orgasm. I have to be "in the mood", horny in some way.

I guess the only time I really get that feeling though is when I'm with my partner.
I can go to the night stand and grind no problem, I merely just hae to think of it, but that's quick and feels good but is definitely not an orgasm. When I try to really masturbate with my fingers of the wand, it's like homework or something - I am doing this for a purpose, to hopefully get an orgasm, if not this time, at some point.

            Mastering orgasms is very difficult.

This might be totally unrelated but. last night for instance, I actually orgasmed while have intercourse with my fiance. It was the first time ever and was amazed I actually did it. Haha. Of course, I guess it was just a combination of me touching myself and him inside me. Not sure. LOL, I just hadn't experienced anything like that. It took forever for that to happen to me.

Everyone is different, but don't give up hope! It happens when it happens.

Thanks... yeah, I haven't given up hope yet. Like I said, I go through my phases of being hopeful and trying, and not. Just really frustrating for both me and my bf.

                Panda,

I think you need to relax. Enjoy how it's feeling, concentrate your energy on that area, and just think about how good it feels, be in the moment, etc.

Lots of women (most that I know) are VERY mental when it comes to having an orgasm. I can be really close and then let my mind wander and bam, it's gone. Don't put so much pressure on yourself though because that's distracting almost in itself. When you have an orgasm, you'll know (at least I did) and I don't think you'll be like "that's it?"
If you smile when no one else is around, you really mean it.

Maybe its a head thing, like you felt ashamed. I am sure your mom knows what you did and she made you wash your fingers so you dont get an infection not because she deemed you unclean or something, but because she did not want you to get sick.
But yeah, just a wild guess. But if you think its psychological see a pro.

Also Kegels seem to help from what I heard.

i've told many of my friends millions of time that all they have to do is tighten up i can't really explain how to do this, its kind of like when you have to pee and hold it for a while, but try it during sex and i am certain you will come i come every time and sometimes more than once if my hubby isn't tired and can last a while good luck
