What to do if your boyfriend has a low sex drive

My situation is very similar or the same as the one in this topic https://www.womens-health.com/boards...want-sex.html; I'd like some advice on what you can do or how you survive as far as dealing with your sexual frustration (while you're not getting sex). I'd appreciate any comments from men or women, thanks.

There are loads of threads on this subject, from both sides. You can do a search on low/no sex drive and find tons.

But mostly you either resign yourself to a sexless life or move on and find someone more compatible.

Open relationships or multiple relationships are other, less popular options. Sometimes there are medical reasons.

Honestly, the only thing you can do to deal with this is masturbate. And that is only a temporary solution.
If you find a better one do let me know as well...

OH, OH! Me, me, me! I can relate to this one!! I feel for you!

I'd suspect that he might have low testosterone. Hint that he needs a test. Is he fat and lacks muscle tone? Hard time getting it up? No morning erection? Lacks energy? If he does, that might be a contributing factor to those issues, in addition to the low sex drive.

Now if you hint that he needs the test and he doesn't go get it; that can be very frustrating that he doesn't have self respect or self preservation. That can be very frustrating that he doesn't see the value in such a test. I mean, why not eliminate that that is the cause?

There is nothing more sad, frustrating, and rejecting than when a person physically wants their mate, but they get little or no normal/healthy response! Makes you really question your own self worth, your own desirability, your own sexuality! (thankfully for me, many of my guy friends have confirmed that any normal healthy man would be THANKFUL to have me!). But their is nothing like male sexual dysfunction to put a damper on a woman's impression of her own desirability.

Hopefully he will get a little pill to be able to get it up?

But belive me, it is not YOU. It is him and whatever his problem is.

Thanks Rainbow Rider, I appreciate your post. I guess there are many women (and men) who can relate to us... We did talk about him going to have a test but we'll see what happens in the next few weeks as this is kind of started happening (or I should say not happening) recently. He's 41, I don't know how age affects these things though I think it's too young from my experiences with older men in the past.

There actually several ways to remedy a low sex drive in both men and women and one of the ways are to feed him with aphrodisiacs or let him take libido enhancers. Apart from that, you must also know the reason behind your man's behavior, the discussion can be found here *Removed outbound link*
