    I feel nothing "inside"

When I try to masturbate, I feel absolutely nothing. I tried with my fingers at first and that didn't work, so I went out and bought a vibrator, thinking that maybe my fingers just couldn't reach in far enough but even the vibrator is useless. on or off, I don't feel anything.

I had a small op to have my hymen cut about a year ago. Would this cause me to be unable to feel any sexual pleasure?

When I try to masturbate, after a while, the opening to my vagina gets a little sore.

I'm really worried. When the times comes and I'm ready to have sex with my fiance, I'm so worried that I won't feel anything.
I don't want him to take it the wrong way. I really want this solved, if it can be?

Thank you for taking the time to listen.

It will be easiest if you excite yourself through clitoral stimulation. Are you doing that?
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
    ...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

Eliminate the possibilities, what was it like before you had the operation? And, ,maybe you excite yourself, after stimulation but in the beginning, you get sore through that you don't lubricate personally enough first?

If you can get stimulated it doesn't sound like this is the problem.

A lot of women masterbate only using clitoral stimulation. You do need have some sort of lubrication either your own, some saliva or some from a tube. There are very few nerves in the vagina itself, if there were child birth would be unbearable.

Before I had the operation I couldn't insert anything into my vagina so, I never knew what it felt like before I had the op but I've always been able to stimulate myself with my clitoris. That has never been an issue and even now that's fine.

I also use lubricant every time I try to masturbate. Just in case, I think is the best way to put it. I'm always afraid it'll hurt to try if I don't, so I always use it.

It's just when I insert either my fingers or my vibrator inside my vagina, I just don't feel any pleasure. I can feel it in there but when I start to thrust it, I don't feel any pleasure at all.
And as I said, the opening to my vagina does tend to get a little sore after a while.

I've asked friends about it, even my sister is absolutely baffled. She says she's never heard of anything like it.
My doctors don't take me seriously, they just tell me not to worry and send me off on my way. I really have no idea what to do next.

I know it may sound a bit weird but the thought of never being able to experience that kind of pleasure...
It actually upsets me. Everyone else can, so why can't I?

I say Kegels...google it. Buildin up those muscles helps sex all the way around...for u an ur partner....try buildin them up to see if that makes a difference...i have always excersized mine...an mine are very strong( i can actually push a "hard" penis from inside me while im climaxin) ....u can feel them wen u are urinatin an stop the flow...the muscles that tighten wen doin that are ur kegels, u should b able to feel the contraction all the way to ur anus, bein able to flex them an hold them tight may help u w feelin somehitng "inside" . Let me kno how this works....they will suggest u use a ball to help w this exercise but it can b done w out it(if u google it for more info) . if u are unaware of these muscles then u want to start w 3 second intervals an work ur way up...hold for 3 release for 3 an continue. U can do these while ur workin...sittin or standin. I am actually doin it now sittin here an typin this...lol. The stronger they are an more u can work them the longer u can hold it...an it WILL make a difference to him if u do it durin sex...an u will notice a difference in intesity an sensation as well. Good luck

While trying to locate my G-Spot I found that the top part of the opened to my vagina is what's actually pretty tender and is what hurts. There's a short but quite thick tag of skin there and that seems to be what hurts.

Do you think because that hurts, it maybe over-rides anything else I might feel?
                  I couldn't find my G-spot, I assume I'd know if I did find it?
Not that I'm going to give up, mind you. I'll keep trying and learning more about my body every time I have the privacy to do so.

But that tag of skin...Is that normal? I don't know if it's what's left of my hymen after they cut it or not but it's pretty thick.
Do you think I should go back to my doctor and mention it?

Sorry for all these questions. I hope you guys haven't given up on me yet.
I am also researching Kegels. Sounds interesting and something I would really give a try.

I also need to thank you all for your help so far. Even just with this, I've learned a little more about my body.

The clitoris is at the top of your vaginal opening, above your urethra (where pee comes out). It usually has a skin hood over it. It can be quite sensitive when you are aroused and it is exposed, even painful. Use lubrication and stimulate it through the hood if touching it is painful. Rhythmic rubbing of that area can bring an orgasm.
