IF this guy isn't anything to you emotionally then get rid of him. Obviously this is his preference with regards to sex (and it can take place in a loving r/ship), but both parties have to be 'into it'. He obviously didn't tell you what he liked before you got together so he hasn't been totally honest with you. It's not fair to just spring that on someone without warning.

It doesn't necessarily mean his feelings for you (if he has any) are not legitimate just b/c he is like that with sex. It's just sex, nothing to do with his true feelings, but a relationship needs to be equal on all levels - emotionally and sexually - and if this makes you uncomfortable then that will never change, so what is the point in going on? He's not going to change what he likes and no one should have to change who they are - you, or him.

      He sounds dangerous. Leave.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Thankyou for everyones comments, I am now more reassured that I have not lost out by losing him, it has helped me to begin to regain some closure
I wish that I had not got involved with him in the first place as it has really mashed my head but I am beginning to try to let him go from my mind and my heart

samanthatallon, and the others are right. You don't deserve to be treated like this. Any guy who's aggressive in bed may well be the same elsewhere. Find the next guy who is more considerate. Just a thought, you didn't accidentally attract this type????

some get pleasure with this kind of attitude in intercourse pleasure when they hurt others, others get pleasure when they get hit. do you know BDSM, i guess it has the same principle.
