I'm 20 and have been going out with my first boyfriend for 9 months. We have been in a long distance relationship for a majority of us dating, and have a healthy sex life, as I get to see him every month. We've done a couple of sex positions, and he loves doggy (and I love it too), but the thing is that it feels like its hitting something inside me. I've read other threads, and the "something" is my cervix but it never hurt when we started doing this pose. I've tried angling my butt and body differently, but its still painful. Last time we did it, my painful screeches kinda ruined the mood... Not sure what else to do... And are there any other positions that you recommend, as we are getting sick of missionary, cowgirl and spooning? Thank you!!!!

Doggy style allows for deep penetration. It probably is your cervix. Maybe you didn't feel it before because maybe you both weren't too comfortable with it, but as things got more comfortable, thrusting got deeper, hitting the cervix.
Do you do any variations to missionary? Him on his knees, with your legs up over his shoulders? That is a very enjoyable position IMO. Reverse cowgirl? It may give the same pleasure as doggy, but give you more control over the penetration.

Lana is correct in that this position allows for deep penetration. You said that you had tried several positions. Have you tried the one commonly called "downward dog"? That's a traditional doggy style with the female on her knees and her head lying on a pillow, male kneeling behind. This changes the angle of the vaginal canal and can sometimes alleviate hitting the cervix. Another option is to ask your guy to take shallower thrusts. Half the fun is finding positions that work for you.Comment

Yes, I have tried downward dog because he mentioned that's how I used to do it, when it didn't hurt. But to no avail it still hurt and more than the standard doggie pose.Comment

How about you on top instead? Then you have more control. And just talk to him. Ask him to please try to not thrust quite so hard - I know that may be difficult for him to hold back, but I would hope that he can learn so it is pleasurable, and not painful, for you.Comment
