Definitely can be anxiety related. Like erectile disfuction and hair-trigger problems, the more he worries about it the worse it will get.

You might also try playing a bit to his fantasies? Might he like being tied to the bed while you use him for your pleasure (and incidentaly his). If he is worried about the stress of performing, that might help. (This assumes that he and you might enjoy this sort of play). You can try other fantasy play as well - trying to make sex seem different.

Again, this is in no way due to something you are doing wrong, but you might be able to find things that would help.

All this assumes that he is a giving and considerate lover in bed and is worth the effort.

Is he on any antidepressants? Those are known to affect the ability to orgasm.

Get him to cut out the wanking between sex. Make him go 2 weeks without and he won't last 5 mins.

          Retrain him this way.

If he insists on taking an hour then make sure you get an hours massage afterwards so its fair time for both, this will help you not feel like your doing all the work.

My fiance has this problem! I actually just posted a new thread about it. I think my issue is exactly related to what CharlesV said. He masturbates EVERYDAY! And he won't stop. I get to see him this Friday for the first time in 2 weeks and I asked him not to touch himself for the whole weeek and he just laughed. He said he couldn't do that because he would be cranky and irritable all week if he didn't. I don't know what else to do.
