    liminal,
I wanted to respond a bit earlier, but we have had a storm blow thru, and my internet is being quirky....
    anyway..
My younger nephew was in an accident that severed his spine. He has no feeling from the waist down. This happened 2 years ago. He became withdrawn, as anyone would... Socially, he wanted to crawl under a rock. My brother and sister-in-law observed this and sought out psychological aid. This aid has been just that, and his views have become more optimistic, he has begun seeing a girl. He met her in a youth group. They have become close and even intimate, with no expectations...
But he has expressed intense passion, that he never experienced before. Even though he has experienced intimate sexual relations prior to the car crash...
I guess my point being, he needed to feel good about himself. Confidence, and the loving support from his family and some clinical aid provided him with the tools.
Believe in yourself.... seek out aid..( group activities, psychological assistance)...

Okay, the reason keeping me from physically being able to have sex is that I had an accident in early adolescence that affected the growth of my testicles which means they are small and their is a an extra cyst like attachment next to one of them which my urologist told me was due to lack of sexual differentiation. That affects the size of the "output" ( a lab aid was in disbelief when I told him that I had not masturbated for a week for a sperm sample) and I think as an extension the intensity of the experience. (its viscerally not easy for me to write this because of the deep stigma attached to this sort of thing, so I am not trying to be avoidant)

That is a very inspiring and hopeful story. I never knew that somebody in my situation could be desirable until I began asking others on the internet forums.

We apperciate that this is a sensitive subject and can assure that no one here will hold that as a stigma and if someone makes what we feel is an insensitive response the mod squad will remove it. I've got to run in a minute but will suggest some books later. I encourage you to look up your local tantric community, maybe see if you can start with a sensory awakening experience, this is not necessarily sexual but helps you learn to heighten all your senses and responses.

I don't know what that is. I must confess to not even being aware that their were tantric communities I can join. What sort of community would that be? Like a yogic tantric community?

If you look around in places like a local paper that lists "new age" or "natural healing" kinds of things, you probably find some tantric workers listed. I would start there, maybe contact a couple and tell them someone recommended that you try this. They should know of anyone in the area who conducts them. I live in a large city where there are several pujas and awakenings and such held every month. There is usually a charge but it isn't much. You may find a heart puja interesting as well, it is about caring and intimacy rather than sex.

Well it seems like everywhere I go people recommend tantric sexuality to me. You are the third person who has done so. I will check that out then. Also the heart puja seems like a good idea also. I don't know if their is a new age section in my towns paper though. Don't know I don't buy papers, i get news online.

I don't know where you are but here we have a paper called Nexxus and one called Westword that would have these ads. Also the natural food stores may have info.
