    no orgasm!

hi everybody... so i seem to have quite alot of issues in this department. one of them is that i have never had an orgasm during sex. my partner has tried everything . i once came extremely close but it just went away suddenly and i felt sensitive instead of pleasure suddenly..maybe ....once! and i have been sexually active for 5 years now... i'm afraid i am on of those who cant achieve an orgasm. could it be so?

Take a look at a thread started earlier today on exactly the same topic:

    It has some good suggestions.

Mental attitude is as important as physical stimulation, if you're not turned on then it'll never work.

I think we need to be able to enjoy self gratification, so doing anything that turns you on is important first step.

I guess self gratifaction is something one did as a kid growning up and experimenting with what feels good.

If you're one of those girls or women that put yourself under the tap faucet and felt pleasure from that well you would probably know more about what you like and what turns you on.

If you didn't do that or things that felt good one would have to ask why ?

Is there or was there anything that arrested that development ?

Are you attracted to your partner ?

Is his technique turning you on or off ?

Do you feel dirty touching yourself ?

IS there anything that makes you feel uncomfortable about masturbation ?

I really think its about letting go of whatever holds you back.

These are some of the questions you have to ask yourself.

Orgasm is from a mans perspective is incredible.

Imagine being totally drenched in sweat, I mean really drenched your hair, body, feet everything is wet like you just hoped out of a sauna.

At the threshold of orgasm a womens vaginal barrel contracts around a mans penis, then there are these invuluntary spasmodic contractions that cause the man to ejaculate violently, incrediblly, pleasurabley and intensely.

You're wrapped up and entagled together in a steamy smoldering mass where you feel part of one another not as a separate entity, its a out of body experience like your souls are a ball of incredible energy circling each other light celestial objects.

Then you come back down to earth and feel euphoria, calm, quiet, content, love or empathy for your partner.

Oxytocin and Vassopressin is being pumped through your brain making your feel wonderful, its a ride like no other.

Orgasm is not something you will fail to miss.

I think orgasm brings people together like nothing else.

Orgasm is not just a physical thing its an emotional thing.

Orgasm is magical, and will make you feel truelly alive and envigorated.

wow.... i think i have a long way to go then... well its taken me awhile to understand that pleasuring yourself is not a bad thing...i grew up in a slightly conservative culture so my notions about these things only changed once i had my first "mature" relationship... . but i only started pleasuring myself once i was told that i need to in order to achieve an orgasm with a partner. i have a few questions about orgasms actually
            - is it true that woman who have clitoral orgasms cannot have vaginal ones?
-can a woman have an orgasm without ejaculating? because what i have felt is a sudden flush in my lower region going down my legs and a loss of control over my body..like a very mild fit. and then a sudden urge like...to pee... but it suddenly goes away... like something was about to happen but it didnt and after this my clitoris gets very sensitive and any physical contact is uncomfortable for awhile. but no ejaculation... so....what would this be?

I think parents perhaps are embarrassed when their daughter or son starts masturbating in front of a crowd or does something that they consider to be not the proper or some other reason - so that is probably why this happens.

I think orgasm is for a women and a man a wonderful magical thing.

I read the purpose of orgasm is to fast track sperm into the uterous.

When you think about making love how could it be a bad thing ?

I dont even think its about maturity, I think we hold certain things as taboo or perhaps we are concerned about our children being molested or for what ever reason.

Some how we become inhibited for whatever reason or programmed to see making love as a bad thing or feeling guilty because we do things that feel pleasurable.

Clitoral or vaginal orgasms ??? I don't know, I'm not a women so all I can tell you is that I think there are only orgasms or orgasms.

Even multible orgasms to me are only a continuation of the orginal orgasm.

"Can a women have an orgasm without ejaculating ?"

Again I don't know because when I was with this partner that was having this amazing orgasm I was in a trance like state I only remember the profound pleasure beyond that I dont remember much.

There was some time that I have no memory of.because what i have felt is a sudden flush in my lower region going down my legs and a loss of control over my body..like a very mild fit.

Losing control of your body is one of the symptoms of orgasm, hard to tell what you experienced without being there.

The one thing that I believe sets an orgasm apart from plauteu phase is involuntary vaginal spasmsmotic contractions and loss of control of your body with highly elevated breathing and very high heart rate of over 200 beats per minute.

I think a percentage of women experience a mild orgasm, where there is mild sweat all over the body and under the nose a real humdinger of an orgasm is when your drenched and I happy to say I have been one of the fortunate ones to have been lucky enough to experience it.

We were so saturated in bodily fluids its impossilble to know if the water is from the Bartholins Glands or from what they call the para uetheral glands.
