Hi ladies, just in need of a little help on lubrication - I am not sure if I am normal in this department!

I am healthy and have had only one sexual partner, who I am in a year long relationship with.

When we have sex, my own lubrication is very often not clear, or very liquidy. Instead it is white, has a thick texture and "bitty" by which i mean it is lumpy. It is strong tasting, and the appearance of it really puts me off sex although my partner does not mind. Just writing this description makes me feel this is not normal - yet I definatly have no infections (I had tests recently for different reasons.) I am on the pill but the appearance of it does change throughout the month, yet very rarely do I get lubrication I would imagine to be "normal" which is clear/milky liquid? However my partner and I have little other experience to compare to.

I would be very grateful if anyone could share their thoughts/experiences with this.

You're fine, it should change depending on what stage of ovulation you are going through, it can be clear or milky the taste can go from salty and a bit bitter to mild and even somewhat sweet..

Don't worry about it, you're normal..

However, I am just wondering if there are any ladies out there who can say they experience this too. Call it peace of mind as my partner reluctantly admitted that he had not seen this before in his previous relationship.
