If a person looks at anything, anything at all....porn or a pencil their occipital lope will be firing like mad. So yes it is the same for visual stimulation, the difference would be in the rate of fire in the pleasure centers of the brain. I was referring to if a poll was done, like in studies, that are asking both men and women if they consider themselves more visual or not. From there the stats would say, on average, if men or women would answer "yes" to being more visual with sex.Recent research on brain activity have found that woman and men's response to visual stimulation is essentially the same, given allowances for individual variences. The assumption is that the difference is in social condtioning and expectations. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

And just as many if not more documentaries showing the other side of the porn industry as nothing more than a degrading sweatshop do it for 10 hours and if you say no get more cocaine to make you say yes company. There have been quite a few documentary type programs on where women run these businesses (movies, website, shops, toys, etc). And most women actresses are treated with respect, more so than the male actors. It's an equal opportunity world now. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

Hi. I am a bit confussed at the moment about porn and my wife. We are both 40 and for years she used to hate it if a sexy scene came on the TV, she would huff and puff and reach for the remote to turn it over. Like most blokes I have had some form of porn for years, I no longer have any magazines and favour the more discrete digital version on computers. My wife has never enquired about porn, guess she never had any cause to so I have never needed to justify owning it. I have discovered (a bit like a female post earlier on) some interesting internet history on my wife's computer. She has looked at naked blokes on-line and has now read countless erotic stories on female sites containing graphic details. I have also "stumbled" across a couple of fantasy books also contain strong language. In the last year or so she has texted me while Im at work basically telling me she is in the process of getting herself off and I should have come home to sort her out but she done it herself! She has now bought a vibrator and a porn DVD which she has told me about and said we just need some "us time" so we can watch n play but the toy has only made a brief appearance and she is yet to reveal the DVD and she told me she had these aproaching 3 months ago. Is she nervous about playing together or just having fun by herself still? So, I know I like porn but dont know if she does or why she bought this stuff!Comment

Sounds like she might be a little embarrassed by it all. I wouldn't confront her about it, just try introducing it slowly into your "bedroom time" and gauge her response. If she's uncomfortable, back off and try again some other time with something a little lighter. Let her know it's all good, that you like it and it turns you on... and you'd like to experience this with her. You might not get the response you want right away, I think she just needs to get comfortable with the idea of sharing this side of her with you.Hi.
