    Difference of Opinion

A friend and I were having a discussion about sex. I had mentioned that I thought giving oral sex was more intimate than having sexual intercourse. Obviously she thought the opposite.

I am just taking a poll to hopefully settle our discussion: Which do you find more intimate, giving oral sex or sexual intercourse?

Sexual intercourse is more intimate, your giving your whole body to a man, not just using your mouth on him.

      Have to agree with sidney.

Oral sex, is "adding" to the finale... so to speak...

We're women, off course most if they give oral love doing so, and enjoy it, but you can't compare that to the intensity that we feel from penetration, let's face it there we orgasm, most don't orgasm from giving a man oral, and if they do, not with that intensity. That's perhaps without "feelings" deep for your partner.

Take that aside, it's "giving" to give oral, it's "bonding" when two people are having intercourse, if they feel deeply for each other, it has meaning, so in my opinion that's more intimate...

I think it depends on the circumstances. Intercourse can be pretty impersonal with no kissing, not looking each other in the eyes, or doggie style, especially if there was no real foreplay. The same can be said of oral sex if it's just you giving him a bj, especially if he grabs your head and just has at it.

Really its all about what you each bring to the experience and what you give. If you are both sharing, wanting to bring the other pleasure, feeling loving and caring, then anything you do can be intimate and very special. But if sex is treated as a purely physical act, if one or both just use the other like a masterbation tool, then the intimacy will be lost.

What WC said is pretty true for me also.
