    Help.. I can't get/stay wet

I have only really noticed this problem since I had sex for the first time, about a month ago now..

So the background is.. My partner lives a fair way away. Basically all of our communication was phone and online before we actually established a relationship (I have known him for years though). And then I went to visit him for a week, in which time we did quite a lot, sexually. In the time before i saw him and during our time together I was pretty much constantly aroused (by this, I mean turned on physically, mentally/emotionally).

Prior to him, I actually found it pretty easy to get wet from photos or scenes in movies and I went through a chat phase too. But it wasnt all the time, I just went through periods of being interested and then months not even giving it a thought.

Anyway, once I left him after the week and came home. There was nothing. No arousal at all. I know I was emotionally wrecked for having to leave him, so I had no interest in anything realyl. I saw him again a week later, and things were great, fine, no problem.

Now its been nearly a month since we have seen each other, and I know he gets turned on very easily just thinking about me, but I guess I just dont think about it. I do things for him though if we start talking about it like phone, photos or webcam. And it does get me turned on when I can see/talk to him when I know he is.. well you know.. But then I just dont get wet. And if I do, it is not the same as before, or when I was with him, and it doesn't last long.

I can still get myself to some sort of climax, but it just doesn't feel as good without my 'natural lube'. I have used lube and it feels ok, but its still not mine.. And I also have a toy which feels amazing but again no wetness.

I am on the pill as well, but I have been for years so I dont think that is an issue.

WHY?? It is so frustrating. And, is there anything I can do??

Thank you, and apologies for the novel..

Fatigue, general health, worry, stress, time of the month, type of pill, medical, .... it can be any number of reasons. Might be worth a check up from a doctor.

It might just be because of stress. Maybe a change of horomones. Did you recently start the pill? or an antidepressant?

The rest of the world no longer seems as exciting without him right there. This is why you no longer get wet, unless you are with him. It is your body's natural reaction.

Thanks for your responses. I guess the joy of being female it is somewhat difficult to separate physical and emotional. I figured it is a combination of things, it is just frustrating for him to know that I am not, especially when he still is all the time.

Lizzard, I have been on the same pill for a number of years, so I dont think that is the problem.

Will i ever be able to get physically turned on again though without him!? It feels like I wont. And then I worry that I won't next time I see him either and that would be horrible. Physical stimulation just doesn't work.. Even the vibrations from the toy.. Which I see to be a bit unusual?
