Agreed, it just sounds like we're not talking about normality hear, maybe she can clarify it a bit for us.. -
okay, i mean, i've heard about women who are so tight they can't use tampons or even have a finger inside them. that doesn't bother me. i've even gone through a pap smear and that didn't hurt. but it hurts when he gets about an inch or two inside. and lubricant is not an issue. we've used that too.Comment

I had this same problem. I waited and when I finally got to "do it" it hurt so bad that I cried. I cried and said sorry for over an hour and wanted to try again. It was the way I was laying. I was on my back but more sitting. My husband wasn't a virgin and he placed me laying completely on my back and it didn't hurt at all!Comment

Have you tried having him stimulate you to orgasm before you attempt intercourse? For me, lubricant just will not do the trick unless I am super relaxed as well. I think that might do the trick for you. If you can have a pap smear and not feel discomfort, I bet you are just nervous and tensing up. A drink or two might help you get relaxed. Hang in there!Comment

I just got married and I had the same problem, how refreshing I thought I was the only one! It could be that your hymen has not yet broken. It took like ten time before mine would break and it was extremely painful every time. I kept thinking it has to be broken because he had gone all the way in but it wasn't, there was a fair amount of blood when it did break. During that time I did some research and some girls hymen can not be broken from sex and you have to go to the doctor. Also buy K&Y, if you aren't wet enough it will hurt alot worse. Ive been married since Sep 11 and sex doesn't feel good yet but it doesn't hurt anymore, I know how frusterating it is. Sometimes I just want to cry about it. Hope it goes well for you.Comment

It's not always pleasurable the first time and even a few times after that. His size might be too big for you, he should be gentle everytime until your hymen breaks, consider you r position in doing it less painfully...and amazing foreplay would do the trick as well. Don't worry, you'll be able to enjoy it after every attempt...You won't regret the feeling.
In tip top shape...check me out!

It hurt me a LOT when i first got fingered, but i didn't want to and I tensed.
It hurt later too, for almost a year, and certain angles.
Then sex, omg, that also hurt. But the 6th time it hurt the most, and then i bled (only a tiny amount), and every time after i touched it too (because i didn't let it heal). Finally now it doesn't hurt it's just slightly uncomfortable. I think after another month or so sex will be just fun! Since there is much less pain sex is starting to be enjoyable. I think see a doc just in case, but definitely keep at it if you can, go at YOUR pace, be on top and control everything. Lube helps but it won't stop the pain it just slightly helps. Just let him inside you and stay still for as long as you need (i needed over 10 minutes at the start)Comment

I'm pretty new to sex so I don't know how much I'd be able to offer, but it's hurt like h*** the times I've done it, even with the guy being as slow and gentle as he could. The first time he entered by half-inch increments or so - slide in just a little, then stop and wait, slide a little more, stop and wait, and on until he was all the way in. I thought he'd never get there, lol; it took ages but I don't think I would have been able to take it if he hadn't done it that way. It was not pleasant but like Teenie said, ask him to stay still inside you for as long as you need until the pain subsides a little bit. Also, when I was on top near the beginning of these "adventures," it was much less painful than when I was propped up/half on my back. Dunno if the same would hold true for you (or maybe you've tried and it hasn't?) but just a thought . . . good luck
