    Hi AnastasiaRose

No, it depends on the number of partners you have unprotected oral sex with, your risk of being infected with a cancer causing strain of herpes virus. It's not the same strain that just about everyone has. It's just like cervical cancer, women who have unprotected sex with a high number of partners, have a higher risk of cancer. Now higher risk does not mean you will get cancer, just means your at increased risk.

One thing I wanted to mention is to make sure that the chemidia is completely treated, eevn if you don't have symtoms get tested in about 3 months to make sure you don't have a chronic infection.

Google it, it's not well advertised, and many woman are not aware of the danger. If you have friends you can trust, spread the word. Let them read the literature for themselves. Many times diseases that affect just women, are ignored until it becomes a big problem and can't be ignored and woman make a decision to take up the banner. Thats the way it was for breast cancer research, very little was done until woman insisted that the Feds invest money into research.

The best thing to do in the future is to be aware and to insist on protecting yourself - put you first. Demand that sex is mutually satisfying and if it's not, drop the guy. Don't let a man be selfish sexually with you, don't give them pleasure without making him take care of you first. Men are not evil, but it's easy for them to shut off their feelings and not be concerned or care about a woman that see as a source of easy pleasure, meaning she makes no demands on him. I don't mean demanding a relationship if that's not what you want but even when you just want to have sex and nothing else.

If you just want sex with no entanglements make friends first and make sure to get him tested. In those types of relationships, make sure that the sex is good for you. if he is selfish get another friend. You have to get as much out of any relationship as you give. Make him work for whatever you decide to do and protection your self.

You sound like a lovely, level headed and intelligent young woman in the process of exploring your sexuality. . You are learning your way around men. Just remember, no matter what a man says you come first. Women are very giving towards men it's our natural to please them and make them happy. It's almost like it's hormonal, but you soon learn they don't think or feel the way woman do. So just know that and act accordingly. Not all woman understand the way men think and they will try to talk you into pleasing a man first and foremost.

      Thanks Allie,

I got re-tested for chlamydia, HIV, gnorhea in june it came back all negative. I am going to be extremely careful in the future with my partners. I am 24, and I never really had much sex because of this reason but im really going to take into consideration what you said and put myself first.

OK I know you will be fine. When you get the massage about caring for you, it will never let you down. As long as you don't let yourself be talked into anything by some guy trying to get you to pleasure them and forget yourself. Now you'll meet someone who cares about you and would never want to see you get hurt. Best wishes, Allie
