adult circumcision , to do or not to do...
I'm 23 with a healthy sex drive....my girlfriend and i have sex alot! about 2/3times a day when were around eachother, but one thing that bugs me is she always asks how come i wasnt circumsized as a baby....ill be honest, im not a huge fan of having a foreskin i think it would look alot better without...but aside from visual, i dont have much sensation while getting Oral, its like the skin blocks the feeling or something....so ive been looking at local clinics that do adult circumcisions and i am seriously considering getting it done...is there any guys on here that have had the operation and can give some insight....and any women who feel one way about it or another? -
Sounds pretty drastic. I think you might be better served by hunting up some information on the subject. From what I've read and heard, it is more likely to reduce your sensitivity rather than increase it. This is not reversible, think twice, thrice and then think some more. Why do purely elective surgery for no really good reason?Comment

My boyfriend is uncircumcised and it can be more awkward and difficult if I do not pull back the skin. I suck and all but the only part that moves is the extra skin and he has even told me that there is not as much feeling if I just leave it as is without pulling it back. However once I pull it back there is no issue and he says he can feel it far better. Though it can be annoying to always be holding the skin back and not having both hands free (even for a bit) if I am on my knees. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

I am uncut as well and everytime I am fully erect the foreskin goes back on it own more or less. Oral has always felt good for me, in fact the only time there is ever a problem is occasionally during a handjob if it is not lubed up there is a little tug on the foreskin, but a quick adjustment of the grip (grabing lower on the shaft) corrects that.
I would advise against it because I hear getting the procedure done as an adult is not so much fun. But hey, do whatever makes you happy.Comment

I was circumcised, don't know(or care for)the details on the difference, but i do know multiple women with men who weren't circumcised who I used to sleep with while they were in relationships who had no other complaints about the men they were cheating on with me.
Sorry to sound harsh, but from my experience, that can be a deal breaker in bed and make women drift elsewhere, I'd advise you fix it if she brings it up. If she doesn't she hasn't been around the block to know any better.Comment

Ack, don't get an unnecessary surgical procedure just to look like some guys your girlfriend slept with in the past! Be thankful you were not circumcised as an infant, it's an extremely traumatic process that removes a highly-innervated and protective part of the penis for no good reason (the main reason for doing it in the past was because they thought the pain from the surgery would discourage boys from masturbating). If your girlfriend truly loves you, she will love all of you - including your foreskin. Even if you have phimosis, there are other alternatives to circumcision. First, you can simply work to stretch your foreskin out over time so it will retract automatically when you become erect. If that still doesn't work, I've read about a simple surgical procedure a doctor can do that involves cutting a small slit in the foreskin to loosen it up so it can retract, without removing it completely and sacrificing precious nerve endings. Please consider all the possibilities out there before deciding to cut off a normal and natural part of your genitalia!Comment

?? Seriously? Not sure what to think about that behaviour or statement really.... I can say I don't agree that they would have slept with you purely for that reason, as a woman.. that wouldn't make sense maybe size really mattered to them, or something, or they didn't have morals, multiple is a tall order....PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment

There's a lot of research out there indicating that NOT being circumcised = greater sensitivity
Personally I think it's a barbaric procedure that smacks more of religious belief than science, and in fact it is performed much more rarely now than it once was - unless of course you're a member of that religion that seems to require it.
I would not allow my two sons to be circumcised at birth, and I can assure you, neither would allow it now!Comment
