Firstly, let me thank all of you who decide to read this, and a special thanks to those who post suggestions for me.

I am a 22 year old female who has been sexually active for 8(eight) years. In that 8 years, I have had 1(one) orgasm. I don't know if this will help, but I just made a hasty retreat from a 6(six) year relationship involving a man whom I thought I loved.

The first problem: I have tried masturbation on hundreds of occasions--with toys, with my hands and with a partners hands. I cannot achieve orgasm this way. I have massaged my clit, played with my g-spot and I can't orgasm. Anal sex holds absolutely no interest for me.

The second problem: Sex has almost almost no interest for me. I can read about sex or role play sex with a very close friend of mine, and I will get horny, but thinking about sex itself turns me off. Watching porn does absolutely nothing for me.

So, what I'm asking is: Help. How do I achieve orgasm, or get interested in sex with another person? I find men and women attractive but lean more towards the male gender. I do want to get out there in the dating field and if something more comes of it, I don't want it to be just "uhg". Suggestions? Comments? I have had sexual experiences with women and it was pretty much the same as it was when I am with a man. Nothing was better and nothing was worse. However, I find that I am generally more attracted to the hard planes of the male figure and men in general.

The whole thing about sex. And masturbation. I can get hot and bothered and feel like I need to orgasm, but once I start touching--it goes away. Same with sex. I can wake up in the mood and start to make the effort and BAM--there goes the whole enchilada right off the side of the bed. It's not really the thought of sex but the actual motions to get there. Foreplay? alright, yea I get it and i can get a little hot and bothered by it, but once sex comes into the picture it's gone. I just sigh, get up and go about my business.

Have you been 'caught' masturbating as a child? Has anything ever happened that can make you afraid of sex/physical pleasure? Has anyone ever told you something hurtful about your body? Did you feel it was 'wrong' to masturbate as a chid? Were your parents strict about sex and relationships?

Sounds like it's something mental/emotional that blocks this and it didn't come up by itself.

I was thinking that.
But the answer to all of those questions, except maybe the body thing, is a big, fat NO. My mother was actually a professional belly dancer and my father was a truck driver. They both loved me very much and when it came time, had THE talk with me about sex, babies and the like. They weren't strict and I never masturbated as a child. In fact, I didn't even masturbate until I was 16. I started having sex when I was 14 but never got any pleasure from it.

As for the body thing: I think it might be a self-image type of issue. For instance, I shave the legs, the pits and the jayjay because I find that body hair on myself is unsightly. However I have no problem with hair on other people. (The ex is in the running for the next position as Chubakka) And while I am a little overweight, that has never stopped my from trying to obtain some kind of pleasure and I have no problem getting naked in front of others due to my weight.
