lack of sex drive, a symptom of something else?

My husband and I have had many "fights" about my lack of want to in the bedroom, It's not that I don't want to, I just feel tired all the time, and I'm very emotional anymore. I'm only 32 and I love him very much I still am attracted to him. I don't know what is wrong with me. We have one child 6yrs old. I only want to sleep and I don't feel like playing much with him or our child. I usually end up trying to get the two of them to settle down and feel like they both think I'm a grump. My job is a 10hr overnight shift 4 days a week and I'm in a kind of key position there. I'm just looking for some idea as to if this normal for a woman my age or is this a form of depression and I hate Dr's do I really need medication?

How are you on your days off? It sounds like your job is changing your personality. Are you anxious because of it all of the time? Sometimes certain jobs are not good fits.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, Virginia

Do you take any medications? What do you use for birth control? How is your weight? Do you take vitamins? Have you ever had your hormone levels checked by your doctor?

Sorry for so many questions, just need some more info.

I think you need to start with a physical and some blood tests to check your hormone levels like BD said.

It's not normal for a woman of any age to feel the way you do. Call your Dr and get in for a visit.
