Need someone to talk to NOW!

Four days ago today I had protected sex. Because he kept going soft (apparently he doesn't like condoms) we went through about 3 different condoms. After starting off a bit with using a condom, we did begin having sex without one (this is a horrible decision that I'm really regretting right now. and yes i know, it was terribly stupid) for about thirty seconds or less (i also know, as someone else told me, that "thirty seconds is the perfect amount of time to become parents!" :/).
After the thirty seconds or less we did without a condom, he put one back on and he finally came. When he did, I felt a lot of warmth (more than I usually did with my one and only ex-boyfriend and only other sexual partner) so at first I thought he came inside of me. When he pulled it out though, I made sure to check that everything was alright (the condom appeared to not be broken and was still on). However, I barely even saw ANY cum, though he assured me he did.

We also ended up having sex for another "less than thirty second period" but, right now, I can't remember whether this was BEFORE he came or after. Either way, it was a stupid decision I'm really regretting and I don't know what I was thinking.

I was feeling fine about all of this until today. I'm just really scared and don't really have anyone I can talk with this about. Should I get Plan B?? Honestly, when I really pause a moment and breathe, I don't feel worried about it and I feel like everything will be okay. But my thoughts are racing. I need help! Or someone with a similar story. Anything THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Hi there, and welcome to the forum. So firstly, there is no magic amount of time you can have unprotected sex for without getting pregnant. Every man is different, some have premature ejaculation and can come within several seconds. If there was any pre-cum at all, which happens when a man is highly aroused, it's possible (though highly unlikely) to get pregnant from that. It's even more likely to get pregnant from pre-cum if he had an orgasm previously, though it doesn't sound like he did so the chances are very slim. You say it's already been 4 days, so unfortunately it's already too late for Plan B. The pill has to be taken within 72 hours (preferably sooner) for it to be effective, but you could still talk with your doctor about what the options are. The other concern, STD's. Do you know with certainty that he was clean? If not, get tested. Some STD's are life threatening, which would be much more of a concern than if you got pregnant. And PLEASE, next time, USE PROTECTION, no matter what he says or how much he complains about it. Going unprotected for the sake of his sexual pleasure is NOT worth all these risks. Good luck.

I know how you feel. I went without a condom once for my ex-boyfriend hoping that he would be a bit more sensitive to my needs in bed since I was doing some thing for him. Of course he still only pleasured his self and I felt like a total idiot after. I'm just glad nothing bad came of it.
I suppose all you can do is take what comes of it as it comes and do the best you can about it and be more smart next time.

I had unprotected sex with my one and only boyfriend/sexual partner for two years and he always used the pull out method and we have yet to get pregnant. Every girl and guy is different, but if your boyfriend went into the condom you should be okay. I understand the stress, so I hope you get some info that calms you down! Think positive, and remember that even women who are trying to conceive only have a 25% chance of getting pregnant when their partner goes inside them all the way.

          Hey, thanks guys.
Not really sure where to begin... I'm still a little nervous about it all, but trying to calm myself down. I am usually so careful about all of this which I know is why I'm freaking out now. That was the same with my ex-boyfriend... we'd been without a condom before (never for the entire duration of sex, but just to begin with or something) but this is a new guy and I know that everyone is different, which makes me worried. But yes, he did go into the condom and even afterwards I checked to make sure everything was okay (it wasn't broken or didn't come off or something. like i said, i'm quite paranoid! haha) and it was.

I guess it just being a new situation for me and all really scared me. And I definitely have no intentions of EVER going condom-less again. Definitely not worth the post-stress feeling.

Anyway, thanks again so much for your responses. I really do appreciate them and yes, your info calmed me down a bit. Just nice to know of others who've been in the same situation Have a good day!

I know how you feel i have had scares before. Just trust him and think positive. As for the condom problem what kind of condoms has he tried? My boyfriend and i use several different kinds and some make him more aroused then others. We personaly like trojan thinsations because it feels like ther is nothing there or even fire and ice stimulates both you and him

Hey there ^-^ I've had my shares of pregnancy scares before, and it turn in to nothing, for one I had gone a month with out my period and got really scared and I was super stressed out, But I started talking to my friend and it kept my mind off of it, and he calmed me down, I do a bit of research on it to always keep in check, and then 3 days or so later I got my period. (previous Partner) So sometimes stress is going to not help with the situation, try to calm down, and not think bout it. ( current bf) My and my bf have unprotected sex for over a year now and he would always pull out, and every time we had sex I would feel a bit worried on the inside. So ya know we decided to get birth control and this will help a lot. I know these things can be really nurve recking. But if you really are scared you should get your hands on a plan B. Its best taken asap. If you need anything anytime you can send me a message and we can talk about it. I've been through so much with it, sometimes it almost killed me, but ya know we all made mistakes and we learn from it. If you're still unstable and worried you can talk to me anytime ^^

I would have to agree with the above posters that it is unlikely that you would become pregnant from this episode. You seem to understand the risks quite well so, I won't lecture you there. Back in the day when I was using condoms, I found the lambskin ones to offer the most natural sensation. They have two downsides: 1) they are expensive & 2) they will not block STD's such as HIV. I strongly suggest that you get on the pill. Even with condoms, it is possible to have an accident. I can remember as a teenager pulling out with one in shreds (I wondered why it felt so good!). No, she did not get pregnant. You are probably going to have a nice set of the jitters until you have your next period. Get on the pill and don't put yourself through this again.

Good luck and best wishes for you.
