Sperm have tails not wings. They swim not fly. They cannot travel very far on their own, generally just from the vagina to the uterus. And crawling across the bedsheets is unlikely, since they do not have any legs or arms. However, if assisted, they can travel great distances, even thousands of miles. Sperm do not thrive for very long in air. But keep in mind that semen contains nutrients and carrier agents. So a dab of wet semen could keep the little swimmers alive for a while.

The whole sleeping naked with the brother-in-law scenario is a little hard to believe... particularly with tequila involved. But, let's say her story is true and the guy had a wet dream about her and his penis was in a position to ejaculate near her vaginal opening. It would be possible for one of the little swimmers to find it's way in there. OK. I have an update from my friend. She said that she went over to his house after doing Tequila shots and she doesn't remember much. She woke up the next morning and was sticky on her stomach and she asked the ex BIL what happened and he told her that he masturbated while they were sleeping because she wouldn't have sex with him and he must have gotten some on her by accident. 3 weeks later she was pregnant. There is only a 25% chance of a woman getting pregnant during unprotected intercourse. For an egg to be fertalized, the sperm, which are in the semen, must enter the vagina and travel up through the cervix, through the uterus, to the fallopian tube, and meet up with the egg. I guess there is a possibility of her getting pregnant if the semen dripped into the vagina but there would have to be a large amount of semen and he would probably have had to cum all over her stomach or something!! I guess since you said it was sticky that is a possibility. Still, even if that happend the chances of becoming pregnant just from being cummed on is extremly unlikely. My guess is he probably had sex with her in her sleep or masterbated all over her, either situation is horrible and that sucks that this man is the father of her child.
