How to prevent knee burn from cowgirl

I would like know how to prevent losing the skin off my knees when I'm riding cowgirl without going to the exteme of construction worker-looking knee pads (only if its a last resort). We usually stay in the bedroom on the mattress but I somehow always manage to get bleeding blisters on my knees and band-aids do not last. It looks like I have been crawling around in gravel. There are times when I lean closer to him with my head in his neck to ease tension off my kneese, but there reaches a point when I have to start bucking. If anyone has any tips on how to keep my knees from rubbing raw I would really appriciate it

My only suggestion would be to put more blankets, or even a pillow down for your knees. That, or shift your weight so you're on your feet/toes instead

I've tried this before where I have him lay on the floor and I hang onto something supportive while I get in the squatting position over him but it seems I have better traction on my knees. It gets aggravating sometimes because when my knees get blistered up, he makes me wait to get on top until they heal. This usually takes a few weeks up to a month.

Unless you are doing it on a rough and/or hard surface the only reason I can think for blisters would be pressure sores. Are you in this position for long periods of time or do it regularly? If this is the case maybe try a different position until your knees heal and make him do some of the work

I have to admit, I do like it a little more on the rough side. I can't say I have ever timed how long we stay in this position but I'm guessing just a little longer than 45 minutes. When I get worn out and can't physically hold myself up anymore or have a hard time breathing we will switch positions and we go until he gets tired and fatigued and switch again and this works out pretty well for us. We usually only have sex in the bedroom on on the couch and both surfaces of furniture are fairly soft.

It's nice that you've found something that works for both of you but that's a long time for a lot of pressure and friction to rest on a fairly small point(s). If you really want your knees to heal you need to give them a break. Have you tried more foreplay so the intercourse doesnt last so long? I know that may not appeal to you or your SO but once you've healed you can resume longer sessions, at least until your knees are due another break.

Just as an afterthought have you tried putting creams on your knees? and I dont mean moisturisers they'll do FA lol. But there are creams designed to protect your skin from pressure by creating a light 'film' over the area. It's by no means a cure to your problem but who knows might help

I know neither of us would be against more forplay but how can I experience forplay with him for longer than a few minutes when I find him so irresistible? I have always been the type that needs a lot of forplay if I want to reach orgasm, but its different with my SO. He can walk in the room and I'm ready to bend over. Maybe I should be asking about self control? lol

And no, I have not used any kind of cremes. I was not aware they had ointments for this type of thing. I know at the hospital I work at we use a creme when we change someone to prevent the breakdown of skin used as a barrier. I'm not sure if this could be used for the same thing?

Yep, that's the one. I know this from the same source but it wont work on broken skin (as you may or may not know) so you need to restrain yourself with your irresistible SO and let yourself heal

Just think, a little restraint now and soon you should be able to enjoy each other as normal without the pain in your knees, win win

Cool ! You feel the same way about your SO as I do about mine, only I'm the male. Restraint is a good thing once you learn it. Can even make the time spent being intimate even better....imagine that!

                    How about trying reverse cowgirl?

I LOVE my intimacy with my partner as much as the next guy but I don't wnat her to get blisters from it. Yikes!
