    Hi
Sounds like you may have damaged your muscles rather than strentgthening them.
With any new excercise it is best to start with small steps.
Stop using it for a while and go back to the old tried and true method.
You can identify the muscles located around the bladder opening by starting and stopping your urine stream. If you are able to stop your stream you are using your pelvic floor muscles. Stopping your urine stream is only a way to identify the pelvic floor muscles. Flow-stopping should not be used as an exercise.
Just clench your pelvic floors muscles for five seconds - relax for five and repeat.
Start slowly and build up over weeks.

Kegel exercises benefit and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles over several weeks/months. It takes several weeks of doing the exercises before any improvement is realized.

The beauty of Kegels, unlike many other exercises, is that you can do them anytime.

It's important that you breath normally while doing them too. If you find that you're holding your breath or they cause you to stop breathing, you are not doing them correctly.

Try to do 5 - 10 "reps" several times each day.

Had you ever done uassisted kegels prior to using the Kegelmaster?

Leaking when you sneeze or cough is called stress incontinence and clinical studies in several countries have found that exersizing the PC muscles (kegel exersizes are named for Dr Alfred Kegel who developed them in the 1940s) can make a dramtic improvement and even eliminate stress in continence in addition to other benefits.

Did you review the doctor guided DVD that came with the device? How many springs are you using and how many reps are you doing?

If you start off any exersize program too enthusiastically you may over stress the muscles. Start with the device without any springs, just insert it and squeeze against it. Do unassisted kegels as well. It is recommended that you do the unassisted exersizes in different positions and while moving too. It takes time to build any muscle to a good strength.

There are no creams, ointment or pills that can take the place of exersize to strengthen your muscles. The PC muscles which both women and men have, are the abdominal floor. They hold your rectum in place, the bladder, and a woman's uterus. Weak muscles in either gender can contribute to or cause incontinence and decreased sexual performance and satisfaction. For women strong PCs can shorten labor times and speed recovery after childbirth too.

Slow down, take it a step at a time and give your muscles time to develop more stregth gradually. This is not a quick fix but part of a lifetime health program.

Sweetie some men go through a mama syndrome after seeing the woman in their life give birth. Some are profoundly moved at the birth process but others get a bit freaked out. They can get kind of funny about having sex for a while. Why not talk to him about it?

PS keep working on the kegels they are really good for you and have many benefits but I'm betting this is more to do with attitude than anything else.

Stay away from pills, potions and creams too. NONE of that GARBAGE does anything except empty your wallet.

Pick yourself up, brush yourself off and start doing kegels, by themselves, everyday, several times each day.

In your other thread, you say that you're desperate yet you purchase this device and don't "bother" watching the DVD? Huh?

I would suggest laying off of the kegel master for a while until you know how to do kegeks on their own for several weeks. Then return to the Kegel Master, if you so desire, and treat it like it was new....read all of the printed material AND watch the DVD...repeat until you are comfortable with using the device CORRECTLY.

After giving birth it is very important to follow the light exercises recommended to restrengthen those muscles...and then when more comfortable start to do kegals. This I followed like the bible and I have 3 children. It is possible tho to tighten these muscles even if you havent done the exercises from the beginning. Kegal are something that you can do anytime anywhere once you can easily locate them...when u you pee try to start and stop and start and stop. I do kegals when Im watching tv, doing the laundry, even when Im driving lol
If your man hasnt had any complaint are you sure you have really become as "loose" as you think? Because this is a very common worry for every woman who has given birth so you are not alone in that. Some women are just wider set than others to begin with but kegals will still help. Did you discuss this concern with your doctor? Sometimes surgery is required to correct the problem in serious cases too, like if there was serious damage during birth (ex: severe tearing).
As for your man seeming to have excuses not to have sex, it is like Wildchild said and some men are really freaked out about what they saw during the whole process and it just takes a little time for them to get over.
