I am SCARED of sex !

The idea of penetration is just . . . . . don't get me started.

I'll be totally honest with you all. I'm an 18 year old college student and am extremely intimidated by intercourse. Don't get me wrong, I've had plenty of offers (more than i've wanted, actually) but I just don't feel that I can go through with it! What's crazy is that I get turned on extremely easily and I also get WET (lubricate) VERY easily. All a boy has to do is kiss my neck and it's Panama Beach down there (excuse the vulgar metaphor). Question one: is it normal to lubricate so quickly and so much? I could be watching a guy slowly peel a shirt away from his body, and I'm wet. I could think about sex with a certain guy for all of eight seconds, and almost instantly, I'm leaking.

I've been with a guy that I really like and my hormones are pushing me to go "all the way" with him. Problem is, of course, is that I'm afraid. What if it really hurts? I won't enjoy it if it really hurts.

Is there anything that I can do or that he can do to make it less painful? Will my excessive lubrication be of aid to me throughout the intercouse? Again, is it normal to lubricate so often? Please help.

Don't do anything you are not ready to do. Having sex the first time is opening a door that cannot be closed, but it shouldn't be a bad experience. Getting wet means your hormones are working correctly and strongly. That does not lessen the anxiety. For intercourse, sufficient natural lubrication is perfect.

You should wait until you are comfortable on going ahead. Have you ever orgasmed? If so, by masturbation or what way? You should explore having orgasms. If you can have an orgasm or several before having intercourse, it will prepare your body for intercourse. He should learn how to get you to orgasm manually, or if you are adventurous, orally.

Take your time and when moving forward take things slowly.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
      ...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, Virginia

Take your time. Explore your own body and be comfortable with what pleases you. Penetration is frightening when you have not experienced it. Try it slowly on your own to get over the fear. Learn how to do it by yourself without pain. Then when the time comes you will know how to do it without pain with your partner. Slow and gentle. You take the lead and make sure the guy does not take control of YOUR BODY. Have him try oral and manual stimulation to get you ready before intercourse. And yes the lubrication will be helpful and is normal. This will also be a big turn on to most guys since they will think it is them making you wet.

          r-e-l-a-x !

Yes, the lubrication will be beneficial to you and to him.

Take a deep breath or ten and relax.

The sky rocketing population of the US tells me that almost all American enjoy sex. Your lubrication will be of benefit and from what i'm told the first time will result in some level of pain, again so I'm told. I doubt you'll be dissapointed in going through with it especially if you are dating a guy that you do care for.
