why nobody sued that channel for sending the wrong message about priests. (the men of God )

If there really was a TV show that proclaimed 96% of all Catholic priests to be child molesters then you can be certain that people would have been offended and the channel (and production company) would have been either sued or required to apologise.

You shouldn't unless your information has a reliable source. A sensationalist TV show is not a reliable source.

I agree wholeheartedly. That doesn't give you the excuse to perpetrate untruths. Especially not if you are particularly sensitive to those who 'misunderstand' certain aspects of your faith.

As I said before, if you don't like people spreading inaccurate statements about aspects of your religion, it would be wise for you to refrain from doing the same thing about others' faiths. To do so smacks of hypocrisy, you see and I'm sure you are not a hypocrite.

Did you say the Lords prayer at school?
Do you sing the national Anthem?
Do you give or get or participate in Easter Dinner?
Have you ever said or heard a loved one saying, "Thank God? or
Oh my god........"?
Do you say things like Holy Sh**, Holy Cr***.......
Did you ever give or accept a gift at Christmas time?
Did you ever go to a funeral where the priest/pastor talked about your loved one going to heaven or being at peace with God?

I just have to say that I am amazed that you, Housewife, would take what a television show says at face value. You are an educated person! You should know that statistics can be skewed to illustrate any point you want to make and you should also know not to believe everything you hear. I would assume a scientific person, such as yourself, would think to investigate a claim before passing it on as fact. I guess it is just a gullible streak that you need to work out.

Many people claim to have no religion, or to not believe, ..... until they are so far down they don't know where else to turn, ... or their life is on the line, ... then they reach out, in hopes that there really is a God out there, watching over them, waiting for them to reach out to Him... but sadly, for many, they won't reach out, or won't reach out in time. Instead they will battle God's word and try to twist and turn the truth of the Word. Remember all this arguing in time of suffering, when you look to the sky, and have that glimmer of hope. He is there. He is waiting for you to accept Him. No more arguing coming from me. I will just pray for the lost souls on here, and let God do the rest. Have a blessed day all.
