If I don't have sex or masturbate I will start having wet dreams.
I don't think it stops because you become an adult, I think it stops when you start to masturbate or become sexually active. If you are ejaculating while you are awake, the need to ejaculate is met therefore the wet dreams go away.
Could an exceptionally exciting thought have got in your head and registered subconsciously?
The only time I had a wet dream as a sexually active adult was the night after my first visit to a topless beach. As cool and poker-faced as I was, the experience profoundly turned me on and I was helpless to repress it as I slept. -
It can happen as long as your libido is high and you have no release for a while. There must of been something that got you going to have a wet dream after only two days of abstinence.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, VirginiaComment

I asked my bf if he has ever had one and he said never. I believe him because he loves to tell me about any erotic dream he has had so if it ended in a wet dream he would think it is funny to tell me.There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment
