Exactly! Being a liberated woman means deciding ON YOUR OWN what it is you want to do with your vagina. If you decide that you want to wait for marriage, good. If you decide you don't believe waiting until marriage is right for you, good. If you decide to use your femininity and/or vagina to make money, good. It is all up to the specific person and it is no one's place to judge because it is her vagina and hers alone.
People are different, that just how we are. There are always going to be women who respect their fellow women's choices, whether sexual or otherwise, and there will be those who call other women demeaning names like "****" and set us all back 20 years.
Sooner or later women will realize that calling each other demeaning and insulting names makes it just as acceptable for men to do so, making it acceptable for them to demean and insult us, which is completely wrong.Comment

housewife you make me laugh!
first off do not make assumptions about me or my life you do not know anything about me! let alone how many men i have had sex with!
where i come from men marry women because they like them! they value their opinion, they are also not so hypocritical that they demand to marry a virgin because they themselves generally do not stay virgins.
also i am far from jealous like you claim! i have nothing to be jealous about! i have a great husband, a good career, i drive a car, i do not have to hide away from the rest of the world, i do not have to stare at the floor or walk five paces behind my husband in public, my husbands values my opinion, he respects me has a women he is my soul mate, most of all he trusts me, i can go places on my own. ( these are just some of the freedoms many women in your culture are denied).
the only value muslim women seem have is their virginity. (which is pretty pathetic from where i am standing).
also the reason i think housewife supporter is also you is because i really did not think anyone would be dumb enough to agree with you!Comment

for the record, women are consistently demeaned in this exact way in porn. interesting that you find it "completely wrong," but advocate so strongly for porn.Comment

that was not about your life (hotdogg?s life) I was giving you an example of a typical life of any girl who thinks the way you think.>>
It is great to have freedom, but this example was about how girls exploit this freedom that they have to do wrong things.>>

Where did all this come from?>>
Have you ever crossed the ocean to see how people live over there?>>
Or how women walk with their husbands? Or where do they stare?>>
If you haven't then stop using you imagination.>>

so can I, I go where ever I want , I do whatever I want, I had business trips to countries in Europe where I spent days apart from my husband. Nothing wrong with it. As long as you don?t do anything wrong.>>

It is something that we value the most, but that doesn?t define you, because we assume that every single woman is virgin, but that is not it.>>
Beside that we should have our education, morals, values, traditions?etc.>>
It is not how we value women, because all single women are supposed to be virgins.>>

Agreed. I found that marriage if not for me and therefore being a virgin until marriage is out of the question. Also, I don't want to lose my virginity in high school. As a matter of fact, I don't want to lose it in college either. Those 8 years are meant for me to concentrate on myself and my schoolwork. I want to be successful and I don't need a nagging boyfriend that wants sex constantly because it was good the first time or a baby holding me back. Now, I'm not saying that people who do have sex in high school/college or have a baby have less of a chance than I do, but that's how I see my life. When I feel mature, ready, and have the ability to accept the consequences, I'll have sex and I'll enjoy myself, married or not (I'll probably go through that phase in my 30's where I look at my married friends with babies and have an emotional breakdownExactly! I had a rude awakening last night and that's why I'm so nice today. ^_^ I don't know what it was, but it made me feel better. I have a whole new outlook on life. I'm even trying to go vegan and lose weight. :P What a great night of sleep I had.
Kay. 'Nuff bout me. Pixie is right. Women need to stop demeaning each other. Men get a kick out of it, ya know? If we want to be presentable women with morals then why don't we start with treating ourselves better.
~~ Morals are different for everyone ~~
Note: I'm not afraid of sex anymore.
