I agree, I mean I was watching a soap the other day (Hollyoaks) and all the girls look the same - they all wear a tremendous amount of make up (much more than before) and their clothes are much more revealing! All the guys wear the usual jeans and shirt or whatever. Alot of girls watch soaps and if the women in the soaps are dressed like ****s, then all these girls will think it's okay, and how they're supposed to be.
What I don't understand is why, if you're with someone, why you would WANT to look at another woman in 'that' way. I know I could never do anything I do with my boyfriend with anyone else, and that the kinda people we are, if we were to break up we'll keep doing these things together... it's hard to explain, but my point is basically referring to nudity such as porn, and having sex with many people (I understand why art can have nudity though... (certain meanings etc...))
I also think that the way people dress is unfair on some. My boyfriend doesn't like other women wearing stuff that's reveals alot of their body, and he wouldn't like other people looking at mine. I do think that the idea of sex after marriage was much better, would it have also prevented too many people getting STD/I's?
Well... I'm not an expert but that's basically what I think...Comment

Agreed. I found that marriage if not for me and therefore being a virgin until marriage is out of the question. Also, I don't want to lose my virginity in high school. As a matter of fact, I don't want to lose it in college either. Those 8 years are meant for me to concentrate on myself and my schoolwork. I want to be successful and I don't need a nagging boyfriend that wants sex constantly because it was good the first time or a baby holding me back. Now, I'm not saying that people who do have sex in high school/college or have a baby have less of a chance than I do, but that's how I see my life. When I feel mature, ready, and have the ability to accept the consequences, I'll have sex and I'll enjoy myself, married or not (I'll probably go through that phase in my 30's where I look at my married friends with babies and have an emotional breakdown
).
I had a rude awakening last night and that's why I'm so nice today. ^_^ I don't know what it was, but it made me feel better. I have a whole new outlook on life. I'm even trying to go vegan and lose weight. :P What a great night of sleep I had.
Kay. 'Nuff bout me. Pixie is right. Women need to stop demeaning each other. Men get a kick out of it, ya know? If we want to be presentable women with morals then why don't we start with treating ourselves better.
~~ Morals are different for everyone ~~
Note: I'm not afraid of sex anymore.
You have a very mature way of looking at how you want to live your life. This is a very good quality, and my family are vegan
They seem perfectly happy (I couldn't be vegan - I love milk chocolate! And I've been vegetarian since I was born... I'm too used to that diet XD)
And I'm glad you're not afraid of sex anymore, that's very nice to hear!!!

Their you go again housewife! so how do i think?
just because i do not agree that women should be demonised for the choices they make! you think you know how i think! get over yourself.
oh and i have been to the middle east ( IRAQ ) i have seen with my own eyes how the women are treated like second class citizens! they are not allowed to drive! they are poorly educated, they are far from equal.
also do the men in your culture have to stay virgins too? did your husband save himself for you? or is it just the women who are expected to do this?Comment

gosh I've always hated that... how women were treated as 2nd class... I woulda thought giving birth was enough to be considered equal? Men and women have their different qualities... it's unfair. I think it's because men are usually physically stronger, but that doesn't make them any better does it? I think the world's gotten better since then but... I dunno... maybe that's just some parts of the world.Comment

I don't think Iraqi men are being treated any better than the women over there, even during Saddam regime. They both are being treated far from equal.< font>

And I prefer not go any further with this.

God does not differentiate between men and women who sin; sex outside the wedlock is a sin, whether the sinner is a man or a woman.>>
So we don't have sex before marriage because we fear God.>>
Yes, all men are expected to be virgins too.>>
