    Sex still hurts

    Hello,

I lost my virginity a couple of months ago, and since then I have had sex about 6 times with two different guys. Everytime I have sex it feels like the first time! I know it's not because there isn't enough foreplay, that bit is ok. When he goes to penetrate me, he can only get a little bit in because it hurts so much. We have used heaps of lubrication but it doest seem to help, and when hes all the way inside me, the feeling is so painful and uncomfortable. The bit that hurts the most is the skin at the entrance of my vagina (not the hymen). The first time I had sex that skin ripped And I hAd to go the doctors. I can't even use tampons because they hurt to go in. I really want to enjoy sex, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone had this problem or can suggest anything to help me? Also sorry to be a bit graphic :S

    Help!

I would think fingering before hand and him working his way up to 2-3 fingers could "Stretch" it a little, preparing it for penetration. Have you tried this? Just make sure you go SLOW...

Are you sure you are fully healed?
The other possibility is that you tense up a bit. That would be quite natural given that you started with and have had repeated painful sexual experiences. Why not back off intercourse and explore other options for a while?
      Are you orgasmic?
      Can you masturbate to orgasm?
Can he bring you to orgasm using touch?

If the answer to any of these is No, then work on that for a while. You should be super aroused, not just a bit wettish but dripping and have orgasmed at least once already and be practically begging for him to enter you before you try intercourse. Once you've had a few good experiences with it, you should be fine.

You could have scar tissue from the original injury. This would sting when it came under renewed pressure. This might take 6 months to come right.
Some light daily massage of the area with vitamin E oil might help speed the recovery.

          feeling your pain

I have the same problem as you except that mine is more severe. I have been diagnosed with a condition by my gyno called vaginismus. Basically at intercourse the vagina is anticipating pain so the muscles clench to try and prevent it, sometimes making penetration even impossible. It is much like your eye, when you are about to get poked in the eye, your eye shuts quickly. I wouldnt go as far as saying you have this condition, as you said you can still have intercourse, but it sounds like you are clenching your muscles a little bit, making penetration difficult. For me, I cant even have sex because of it.....it really sucks. But i can use tampons without a problem, although it did take me quite a while to get used to them as well.

What you need to do is train your body that it is not going to be painful. Since my condition is so severe, my gyno supplied me with a series of "dialators." Basically they are "medical dildos" (not the vibrating type!) There is a series of about 6 of them...the smallest one being only the size of one finger and the largest one being the size of a large penis. I am supposed to practice inserting them on my own. It helps to stretch the vagina and give you the mentality that it doesnt hurt. You could try something similar yourself with a normal dildo?

I hope some of this information helps. I'm not trying to make you think you have the same condition as me, but your story seemed a bit famaliar!

Or you may also have vulvodinia.
