    Circumcision!!!!!

Please help! I have been seeing this guy for about 2 months now and this is our 4th time having sex. But to my surprise just recently was my first time really seeing his penis not erect. And Ladies, I have to tell you, it scared the **** out of me. It does not look like he has been circumcised. I did not really want to make him feel embarrased but it was a big turn off. Can anyone please give me any input on this issue? Please! What was his mother thinking??

Also, I read somewhere that you said you were 32, married with children...

Exactly what guy are you seeing when you're married?

Wow!!!i Really Hit A Nerve With Someone!

First of all sweetie it's good to see that you are a good reader in fact its good to see that you take notice to DETAIL! Second of all, you sound a little touchy on this subject so I can't help but to assume that you have or are experiencing the same issue. Its okay to vent your opinion because we all are open to that, after all this is an open forum but be mindful of what you say. Okay yeah 2 months to you may be too soon but after reading some posts from others on this sight, that is d*** good! And as for being married with children that's my personal business don't you think. You don't know what have gone on in my life since any previous posting. If that was a topic of discussion then don't you think it would have been on the board.. DUH!!! I suggest you take two chill pills and relax, because it is going to be okay. I promise! Don't be so NAIVE!

        How bad is it!

I have never seen a man that has not been circumsized and from the sounds of it, I don't think I want to. But as Ravsoma said, if it turns you off that bad then you do need to step off the scene. However, Ravsoma is going a little too far putting your marriage and children into the post. I think that was a little unnecessary. I guess some people do take certian issues to the extreme and this may have been one of those topics that was a little too touchy for her. Good Luck!

The majority of men over here in the UK are uncircumcised and those who are have had it done for either religious or medical reasons. It's perfectly normal to be uncircumcised, in fact the majority of men on a global scale retain their foreskins. The reason for this is that the foreskin is a protective device for the head of the penis and the 'skin' underneath it that is exposed when either the foreskin is pulled back or completely absent as a result of circumcision is not really skin at all, but a membrane that is supposed to secrete a type of mucus to keep everything lubricated, clean and healthy.

Obviously to remain clean, Men have to cleanse themselves beneath their foreskins, but that is easy enough to do. Put it this way, no man I have ever encountered has had a problem with personal hygiene in that area. When the foreskin has been removed, however, the membrane (which is very sensitive, thin and delicate) beneath ceases to secrete the protective mucus and dries up. Also, because of its constant exposure the outside environment, circumcised men do tend to lose a certain degree of sensitivity.

So you see, his mother may have been exercising a little autonomy, rather than simply adhering to the custom because it is traditional. Although you are unfamiliar with the appearance, as long as the man in question has a good level of personal hygiene, there is nothing unsavoury at all about an uncircumcised penis. the only difference is that he'll enjoy sex that little bit more, as a result of not having lost that sensitivity.

It sounds like you're mocking me.

And no, I don't have a problem with un/circumsized penis. It's all the same to me.

Sure, I shouldn't have brought your kids into this, but I'm guessing it made you think. -shrugs-

I am also not religious though, and i personally believe that people should have a right to make decisions concerning their bodies for themselves (ex. inter sexed born children should not be assigned gender assignment surgery before given the choice ect)

anyway, i agree that you do some research on the subject for yourself such as that wiki link, before you make a hasty judgments and try to have a little empathy for the man.

this thread makes me a bit sad because i know my boyfriend suffered from some discrimination and embarrassment from being uncircumcised as well and he is very clean.

And I'll be honest, we did it in less than two months too, so I'm not once to critisize. I'm not even going to read the rest of the responses here... but here's my say in the matter.

There are ways to work around an uncircumsized penis. My boyfriend is, and I admitt, I think it kinda takes away some of the feeling he gets because it took motnhs to even get him to orgasm, but you can pull the foreskin all the way back past the head and it's just as sensative. It's kinda nice because if you give him oral, you only have to have the head in your mouth instead of the whole thing.

On the downside, my boyfriend has a problem with the skin underneath peeling because of the moisture that gets caught under the foreskin. But just make sure he keeps it clean after sex and stuff.

Its natural not to be circumsized, if nature had intended it not to be there then it wouldn't be there in the first place! I undertstand that it is not only more sensitive if he hasn't been circumstized but also there is more friction for him during sex. I'm not sure what you mean by "if you give him oral, you only have to have the head in your mouth instead of the whole thing" I can't see it would be any different.
Men should wash once of not twice a day anyway, so there should be no issue with cleanliness if he does. With the moisture under the foreskin, if he is shaking himself after going to the toilet, drying himself after washing, and washing regularly there shouldn't be an issue here, sounds like a bacterial infection.
