No inner labia!/lips! What do the men think of this?

I have a generous vulva, with a "puffy peach" look. However, when I look at myself with a mirror I have almost no inner labia/lips. My inner lips are very deep and close to the opening of my vagina. They are defined but not "pullable" or "suckable."

No man has ever commented about this fact, and I can't stretch them at this age, not that I ever would have considered it. They are what they are and I'm just fine with them.

I know each man has his own likes/dislikes, and some men could care less. I'm just wondering if my anatomy is all that unusual or in any way undesirable in appearance (if you can imagine it).

It is certainly not undesirable in appearance. Women come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, etc. All are good. I think a lot of Asian women are similar to what you describe, but a lot of other women are also.

Have they always been this way? Has there been a change at any time? Are you near to menopause or through menopause? Have you ever been diagnosed with any auto-immune diseases (lupus, arthritis, etc)? I ask these questions because their is a condition named "Lichen Sclerosis`that will atrophy the labia minora. It can cause scarring which can occlude the clitoris, can cause tearing and extreme pain and itching (at times) of the vulvular region. It usually can be seen as a white figure 8 appearance eminating from the vulva and sometimes back through the anus at it`s worst and at times is totally un-symptomatic. This is not a condition which can be transmitted and is NOT a sexually transmitted disease. For more information there are various web-sites dedicated to this ailment just google Lichen Sclerosis and you`ll probably end up with either the American, UK, or Canadian site.

This is not to say that this isn't the way you were born and that it is completely natural for you. I just mention this because if this is a new for you, you can check it out.

Claret, that's really interesting. I had a hysterectomy 10 years ago so I've been on HRT for that long, and I'm now 48 with Fibromyalgia (not an autoimmune disorder). I noticed that my vulva and outer lips "fattened up" a couple of years ago. I thought it was just me gaining weight. I've never examined myself that closely before, so maybe the inner lips shrunk up then, or maybe it's just the way I was born. Maybe I'll call my old bf, lol.

I don't have the itching or white things or any pain, but I will ask my doc to take a look. I see him this week.

I went to the doctor yesterday and he examined me and said I was normal. I guess he should know. Yay!
