    Vaginal tears

I have had this problem with a few girlfriends, and I am looking for some insight. My current girlfriend has a tear near the opening of her vagina. This issue first appeared a couple months ago. Her doctor told her to give it time to heal and be sure to use plenty of lube, so we gave it a couple weeks to heal. I have always been pretty good about foreplay and making sure she is ready before entering. Most of the time, I go down on her till she is on the verge of orgasming, partly to make sure she is ready, partly so that I have a good chance of making her orgasm during sex. Also, we have been using really good lube on me before I enter her. The tear seems to heal, then re-tears. Now her doctor has given her something to put on the tear to help it heal, and told us to give it a couple weeks, but a couple weeks is not enough time.

Has anyone else had this problem? How long do these things take to heal? I'll admit, not all the sex we have is gentle and slow, we both like it pretty rough. Is this common? Is there anything else I can do? Not being able to have sex is tough for both of us!

Hi SoCoKen, I've personally had this problem before, and I'm sure my boyfriend agrees- It's FRUSTRATING! My seems to come at a certain time each month and heals then re-surfaces. Apparently it does have something to do with hormones- does she have vaginal dryness along with the tears?

I dont think there is any dryness associated with the tears. Like I said, I make sure she is sopping wet AND use lube when entering her. She says she feels it when I first enter, and its just a dull ache after that. Its tough to wait, but waiting two weeks isnt enough, three weeks isnt enough, is a month enough? Its not easy waiting a long period of time, only to tear it again and start all over. kkells, do yours never heal? Is it always something you are dealing with? What is the certain time of the month?
