Doggy style reaches way in there and can be pleasurable as well as slightly painful but still in a pleasureable way.
I would say to you because it was all "new" and different, you were concentrating on "that" feeling, the new feeling. Once you let yourself go and experience, instead of "feeling" you will orgasm this way as well.
