I'm straight, but I tend to find women very attractive...is this normal?

I'm completely 100% straight. I've only dated guys, I am sexually attracted to guys and I only ever want to be with guys. I have 0 interest in being with girls.
But I find myself extremely attracted to girls. I find their bodies most attractive. If a girl has a really thin, skinny figure I'm really attracted to her...but really mostly celebrity bodies. When I want to look at hot pictures I'd have to say about 99% of the time I'm looking at girls. When I'm out in public I do look at girls to see if I find them attractive or not, but usually I'm only really interested in looking at sexy celebrity bodies. And I look at them a lot. Not in an "oh she's cute" way but I actually find myself really attracted to them.
I would never ever romantically kiss a girl and the thought of dating one is really gross to me...but I definitely can get turned on by them an awful lot. Is this normal?

What you are feeling is totally normal. Many married women look at celebrity bodies and lust after them, that doesn't mean they want to cheat on their husbands. Our sexuality is inflluenced by society and how we were brought up. If you had been raised in a society that didn't discriminate against same sex romances or normalize hetero monogomous relationships, maybe you wouldn't be so grossed out by dating women. Our attraction to other people (same or opposite gender) is greatly included by social factors. The attraction you are describing might be labeled as homosexual by certain cultures, where as another cultures may think that is perfectly normal and the way women should be.

There are many cultures where men share very intimate bonds, holding hands, sleeping in the same bed, etc. In Amercian, that would be considered gay. I always say, don't try to label things. Go with what you feel. "Normal" is a very subjective term. We all have different feelings and attractions. Don't drive yourself crazy worrying about it.

Although I have no interest or attraction to the idea of an emotional relationship with a woman I do love sex with women and find myself taking more notice of women than men in a physical sense. As for what is 'normal' - don't get caught up in labels. YOu are who you are. Don't deny the feelings you have or let them limit you. Fear and denial will only make you miserable.

As an asiide, I saw a show on tv where they experimented with a woman with a great figure and groups of men and women's reactions to her. The women were the ones who checked out her boobs more than the guys. Now this may well be for comparision reasons, checking out the opposition, but it may also be that women are generally interested in what other women look like, whether they admit it to themselves or not.

I do it. I develop what I call "girl crushes". There's no sitting around fantasizing sexually about them...but I am attracted to them and enjoy looking at them. For me it's not usually celebrities because I tend to find them "too perfect". haha.

I wrote a blog once about the idea that women are very sexually fluid creatures. It's NOT uncommon at all for a woman to find herself attracted to another woman even if she has zero desire to actually sleep with her.

Like BD, I have "girl crushes" too. I think women in general are just more sensual and soft. Don't get me wrong, guys are gorgeous, but I think having "girl crushes" is perfectly fine.

Lilah really said it well with regard to labels. Don't worry about what is normal or not. If it feels alright to you, then that's all that matters!

How could you NOT find women attractive? Their bodies are just so perfect!

But attraction, and acting on that attraction, are two very different things.

I'm a little late in the game, here, but I agree with everyone else. Honestly, I find women (generally) more attractive than men. We are just built better lol. We have curves and can do so much to kind of doll ourselves up and I think it's just natural for women to be viewed sexually (that's not all we are, but we are sexual creatures). I wouldn't stress too much about it.
