Does the way a man thrusts make a difference?

I've only had sex a handful of times, and as bad as this sounds, I was only interested in getting off myself. So I never actually asked her how she wanted it. I'm reasonably sure none of my partners orgasmed. However the next time I have sex, Id like to be a bit less selfish.

So is there a particular way each woman enjoys being thrusted into. I always go in whatever way feels best to me at the time, is it possible that that is not what the girl wants? Or are woman built to be able to enjoy whatever the guy is doing with his penis in her vagina?

Not sure what you mean by this but the vagina is a tube, the penis goes in and that is that...very simple. But women are not just "enjoying" it simply because there is a penis in the vagina. What makes the difference is whether or not she is aroused and has enough lubrication going on to make things slide in easier. If she is not aroused then any thrust, slow or fast, can hurt.

The other issue is hitting the cervix because a guy gets too involved with thrusting. That can feel like you are being punched from the inside, it is not pleasant for many women. If she says that hurts or slow down at any pint then listen to her, do not ignore it. If it is always "me me me" or "I want this" or "k this feels better for me so do that" while ignoring her opinions then you are selfish and she is not likely to enjoy it.

I am not sure if you are strictly talking about penis in vagina or trying to copy a certain position assuming that it will be pleasurable. If position is the question and a man thinks he can copy porn because he thinks porn is real, and therefore thinks the actresses responses are real, then he is likely going to have his woman in pain because porn is not real and often those positions hurt like ****-it is all about the image in porn not the pleasure. If a man wants to have his woman experience pleasure he needs to take his time with her and ask if everything is alright and what she would like. Should a woman say go faster then go faster but there is no real method to pleasure or enjoyment as everything is subjective.

You NEED to find out what she likes. You can't just start thrusting and assume its good for both of you. Many women can not even orgasm by penis in vagina alone. Changing positions can feel better for everyone, for example i know Doggy feels alot different to Missionary but thats not necessarily a good thing for everyone. Sometimes she will need clitoral stimulation too. Communication is key, regardless of if this woman is a long term partner or a one night stand. Ask her if she's okay, or if your doing it right for her and you probably shouldnt be afraid to tell her that you don't know what your doing. A lot of women would probably appreciate the honesty and jump at the chance to help you improve because its going to benefit her. Find out what she likes and your sorted

How you thrust makes a difference for both of you. Directions of thrusting can be altered with different positions and the alignment of your bodies. You can thrust fully or thrust shallowly. You can thrust fast or you can thrust slowly. Communicate with your partner as to what feels best for her and tell her what feels good for you. Compromise if necessary (if you are both of a like mind, no compromise is necessary) so both of you have a good time.

OK, so women aren't just built to enjoy whatever rhythm a man thrusts in? Hmm, that complicates matters a bit.

No...we do not just have pleasure simply because something is done there. How exactly did you think it was? Simply put it in and end of story it is the best thing for her? I'm confused and yet curious lol. We are not machines that operate in a specific predictable manner.

Education may be the best thing for you right now, very simply put women are not designed to derive pleasure from something being placed into the vagina or from something moving around in there. The reason is giving birth, women are not designed to feel much of anything in regards to the vagina. If we were then child bearing would be excruciating. As a result women are born with a clitoris, that is the main reason women feel any sexual pleasure during sex. Simply pumping away in the vagina does almost nothing for most women, especially if there zero arousal in her mind. Some women are more than satisfied with penetration alone if she is highly highly aroused mentally, but nearly all women need a component of clitoral stimulation plus penetration in order to feel good during sex. That combination of clitoral stimulation and penetration can be done through various sexual positions.

If you are hoping that just pumping away equates pleasure than you need to do some reading, tons of books have been mentioned to help others out and I think it may help you with your questions and concerns....avoid porn as an educational tool as it is a horrid source of information on how to truly please a woman. The best way to make a woman feel good during sex is to talk to her and listen to what she says. If she is happy then you should be happy that you are making her happy type idea. If it is all about you and what you think is best then it is likely she will not have any pleasure from the experience.

This is one of those case by case basis things adub, varying woman to woman and also varying on the mood of the same woman Some thrusting matters a lot, some none at all, some at certain times during the act is it greatly appreciated etc etc. lol.

Some women could careless about you being inside them and what you are doing in there and are more interested in the pressure you are putting on their clit either with your body, fingers etc. Some could care less about anything but the stroke of you inside of her and for most its some combination of the two changing up through varying states of arousal.

Your best bet is always going to be learning your parnter, being able to tell what they like either with them saying or by body language, sounds and experimenting.

Thank you ladies! I guess I'm confused since some women claim that penetration is the best feeling on earth. Maybe they mean the emotional closeness that penetration yields and not necessarily the physical sensation? Maybe a combination of both?

Penetration is the best thing - when the man doing it has taken the time to know what feels best for the woman. We're all built differently so different penises need to do different things to get the same results. The two best lovers I've had are the two who weren't in it just for themselves. It's hard to explain, but they just knew what to do right from the start but I suspect this was because they were both very very experienced. They didn't just put it in and then pump away like a crazed jackhammer. They varied the tempo, the position, and made it obvious (without actually saying it) that making me feel good was what turned them on.

Yes emotional closeness can add so much but while I was emotionally attached to one of these guys, I wasn't to the other but they both have given (and continue to give me) the best sex I've had (and there is a lot to compare them to).

Women are all different so you can't get lazy or complacent.
