I am separated from my husband (not a relationship issue) but we do have our congigal (sp?) visits when we can. Before we separated, he was very loving during sex but we would ocassionally have some "rough sex". Now all he ever wants is rough sex and when I brought this up to him he decided to try doing the same loving kind that we used to do last time we got together. He couldn't cum after about 1.5 hours of trying so we tried rough sex and he came after only a few minutes.

I used to like rough sex every once in a while but I don't like it as our main way. What can I do?

Just a guess, he may be masturbating too much when you are apart. Have him abstain for a week or two before getting together and find out if loving sex works. If he is masturbating to porn, it may be making the situation worse as he is reprogramming himself to the porn that is out there.

I'm beginning to think this may be the problem. A few months ago he had a problem getting hard while around me and I pointed out that because we are not together he was checking out more girls and since I no longer had that "model thin" body I did before the baby, he would have to stop doing that or at least make an effort to. This at least helped some.
